The part where the spectators chose which chairs to sit on was pointless because the envelopes were handed out after they'd finally sat down. I really hated the random song part because I don't think a single person would think that the song was actually random. For me this was the least impressive chair test I've seen because there was no time delay between the envelopes being handed out by the magician and the predictions being shown to match.
I'm with you Matt it wasn't a great performance. Too much screaming and having to manage the audience a little bit too much. Also, the trick itself doesn't help, as you already have the 5 colors matching, then the numbers and the word ROCKY add absolutely nothing to the effect. If any they trick is missing a big ending.
Also interesting that you do agree with what people were saying at the café, Craig doesn't see that as a problem, but we know Craig underestimates audiences constantly, if fact he always says "You can get away...." Which is not true, audience is not stupid and they pick on that stuff. It is the same reveal 3 times which again, doesn't add to the effect, but removes from it.
The "Random" music playing did nothing for the trick, it would have been different if it was a song picked from a list of all different songs or anything, but not a "random" song but really force the song as part of the routine.

There is a trick (I forgot the name - can anyone help me out) where a spectator opens a lock with a number he chose - if you let the people here switch places again after the color reveal and create a random 5digit number, you have a real new astonishing reveal.
Patrick Redford had a nice version he taught in his penguin live which used an ungimmicked but pricey padlock and it had to be one specific padlock. For me though the padlock trick should be a separate trick to a chair test and you would massively devalue it by restricting the numbers to being only 1,2,3,4 and 5 in any order.
Hey Matt ,great performance.It fooled me. Is it possible to do a close up version of this.Maybe Craig can convince alakazam to make a smaller version of this.I only do close up for no more than 2 people.(i have severe stage fright)

Too much money , the trick is in many books magic is getting to expensive. Craig would pay any amount for any old crap . According to Craig everything’s great. My opinion before I get a defensive comment back , take the opinion.

Because I see you on the channel. And you say everything’s good and it’s not a lot of money but it might be a lot for other people out there. Also almost everything you review is a rip off and in books.

I’ve seen him trash countless products on this review channel . Maybe if he says something is great that’s his actual opinion. If you don’t think it’s great that doesn’t make him wrong or a liar. What people like/dislike is subjective and a matter of opinion. You’re allowed to disagree. But saying that he says everything’s great is simply not true. He’s given out tons of bad reviews that say otherwise.
