All cats can hear treats three gardens and more away. 🐈⬛ I do like THAT HAED of the cat and the candle. Wonderful explanation about temperature stitching. 😊. Repeat bags of doom not a problem for me. 😅 I like the bunny fabric in the bag. I am also in the process of making scroll rod bags, but for my own use. Funny, but velcro works on mine too, and I made some cardboard things to cover the pointy bits when in the bag. I do like the mandalas. Looking forward to how you finish this. Sharing other crafts jot a problem, I crochet and knit as well. 😊
Always enjoy seeing a new video pop up 😊. Currently stitching on Spring Quaker by Rosewood Manor but on 40 count using one strand of the Valdani floss over two threads.
I think its the lady at Lori HoltFat Quarter shopwho did the original board, its basically hard board, felt and material at the back, then front to make front edge. It will only take you 15-30 mins. Her tutorial was made 11 years ago.( I just found it so its still there) If i can do it you will easily get it sorted. I did mine by hand, most do it by machine i think. Interesting video. Have a good fortnight. 🤗
Another entertaining video Stuart, thank you. Hi Carl!! 👋👋 I am working on a freebie Quaker from Lila's Studio called "For Thee". Trying to finish it in time for my husband's birthday in late Feb. take care!! ❤❤❤❤
So fun watching your flosstube. I wonder how long you stitch in a day...I am retired and manage to stitch for anywhere from 4-8 hours a day. I love your idea for temperature stitching...some of my own WIPs haven't been touched in ages and that would be a great way to get some work done on them. Thanks for sharing.
Enjoyed my visit with you today. While watching I was working on a baby blanket for my niece’s little one. I love knitting cables and picked a good pattern to indulge. I’ve been watching videos on making project bags and am ready to make my first. I have a massive fabric collection (from my mom) and looking forward to making some quirky bags.
Hi Stuart. Nice seeing your stitching while I work on my HAED SAL jellyfish. Yay for more progress on What Lies Within! I've enjoyed watching your TCSS SAL progress too. 😊 - Kim H
Hi Stuart , Thanks for this briliant tip of crossing every tenth half stitch ! Cross stitching just got a lot easier :) Time passes oh too quickly when cross stitching ! It's February 2nd ! Great to see your 12th flosstube :)
Always so nice to catch up with your stitching! I’m working on the Heart in Hand 2025 Collector’s Heart to get a quick finish in, but also pulled out Hickory Hollow’s Princess and the Pea (which I stared back in 1989 - the horror). Along the way I stumbled across a simply stunning Princess and the Pea and Rapunzel chart from Mirabilia … so down the rabbit hole I go.
So fun to see what you are stitching. I must admit, all your HAED's astound me. I think they are just gorgeous, but keeping the thread straight would be too much for me. Also, I would get frustrated with not getting them done. But I love to see what others do and how incredible they turn out. Love the cat you stitched and the one you are stitching. The little chatelaine yo finished is also lovely. It will make a beautiful pin keep. Now I ight try a chatelaine, if it's not too large. You asked to say what we are stitching on. Currently, for January, aside from my two small January 'blessing samplers', I have beed monogamously stitch on Ink Circles Cirque de Couers. I'm using a variegated DMC and I just love it. I like stitching with one color. No color changes. It's fast and really comforting. Take care Stuart and thanks for all your sharing.
Great progress! The Bella SAL is looking so wonderful, I still haven’t started mine 🙈 & I need to finish part 2 of TCSS SAL. Oh I hope you do find your fabric for the Villains piece. I love mosaic crochet, I have finished one blanket, really struggled with the envelope border which I still need to finish 🙈
Love the Flosstube and really want to do Scary Sampler this year. Project boards are really easy…I made them for complicated quilt blocks and you find some easy tutorials on the quilting UA-cams. I used Lori Holts tutorial. I am stitching on The Drawn Thread Those Who Sing from The Nimble Thimble…trying to finish it this month🤞🤞
Really enjoy our sunday morning visit Stuart...i was crocheting this morning so i wouldnt miss anything on this update. I would love to see your progress on your new crochet project...i havent learned mosaic stitching yet,but would love too. I also would love to crochet graphgans but haven't yet....im just making a basket weave blanket for my grandkids, its 14 DC Front post and the 14 DC back post....easy mindless stitching. That Beaded finish you showed is Absolutely Stunning....will love to see when you fully finish that one. Hope you have a great fortnight and enjoyable stitching, bye for now 🥰
Stitching on Bobbin the mouse by Stacy Nash. Just started and realised I’ve not left myself much margin. Instructions say I need 1/4 inch which I have. Fingers crossed I don’t end up regretting continuing! Happy stitching 🧵
Hello Stuart, always enjoy your flosstubes. I’m stitching on a present from my Sis for last Christmas, Crossed Wing Collection’s Cardinal No 1. It’s a sweet small - came as a kit with the pattern and the lovely hand-painted linen. I want to develop a collection of robins and cardinal stitches. All the best, Steph 😊 love the HAED kitty - it’s beautiful
Always fun catching your WIPs! That treasure chest on the BF SAL looks so good on the camera! Amazing. I'd love to see more of your knitting/crochet! I'm hoping to get into that too!
Hi Stuart, I always look forward to your videos. This morning I am working on a knitting project called the 100 bag while I await stitchy mail containing supplies for my next cross stitch project.
I love your scroll frame wrap. I have just started making project bags but just have pillow cases over my pieces on scroll rods. The wraps will be much better and nicer to look at 😁
Lovely to share another Sunday morning with you, Stuart. I'm not on a "buying ban" so I ordered that Heartstring Samplery piece and one other from my LNS while watching you. "Cowboys and Aliens" is an actual movie (and comic book). It's a fun watch!
I am stitching on the Galliana sampler that she released during the pandemic. Would you consider showing us your stitchy spot or doing a full WIP parade? Happy stitching. I hope you have a good 2 weeks.
Love the progress you have made on your projects. Love to see what you pull out for the Cupboard of Doom. I am working on Keep Calm & Cross Stitch by Crocette a Gogo on 18-count Vintage Country Mocha. I just bought Gingerbread Mice Christmas Stocking by Kooler Design Studio on 18-count White aida. It will be my first stocking so I cannot wait to get that one started. Love your bags that you make. I am not a sewer, but I may try to make a project bag for myself, but it is the zipper that I am afraid of because I have never worked with one before. Happy Stitching.
I am working on ANZAK by Long Dog Samplers whilst watching you today. Again I enjoyed your bags from the cupboard. Looking forward to seeding your projects continue to grow
Hi Stuart, I would love to see one of your crochet pieces - i can't imagine what the indian rug would look like. I look forward to when you post your videos.
Other Flosstubers just cut a piece of 1/4 inch foam board, whatever size you want, I would think 12 x 12 in or 14 x 14 in works best. Sorry, I’m in the US and don’t know the method of measurements you use. Then use the plastics clips to hold the piece on the board. If you want the nicer one, with fabric and batting, the Lori Holt tutorial as previously mentioned is good. Love your videos and your projects. You are such an inspiration and an interesting stitcher!
The Fat Quarter Shop sells the boards you mentioned. They are by Lori Holt. I watched a UA-cam video on how to make them once. I can’t remember if it was on Lori Holts channel or the Fat Quartet Shops channel.
The board can be as simple as a piece of foam board, which is basically two pieces of poster board sandwiching about a quarter inch/ centimeter thick foam. Not sure if they call it foam board in Scotland?
"Cupboard of Doom." LOL LOL LOL. Your channel is one of my favorites.
Stuart...lovely bags...enjoyed all your stitching...best wishes ❤

Can't wait to get my hands on the caticorn wrap 😍
Hi Stuart! I’m doing my current weekend stitch today as I watch your video which is Feels Like Fall by With Thy Needle and Thread.

Lori Holt has a video on how to make the boards. I believe she calls them Biddy Design Boards. I have made them and they are very easy to make.

Hi Stuart. I’m stitching on March monthly mini village by Country Cottage Needlework. I have January and February all done
Hi Stuart, yes , it's great to see your cross stitching and knitting :)
Hello Stuart, always enjoy your flosstubes. I’m stitching on a present from my Sis for last Christmas, Crossed Wing Collection’s Cardinal No 1. Would love to see any crafty things you make.!
Love all your WIPs and always enjoy your videos. Especially your Bruce Lee collection in the background. ❤
Lori holt has a tutorial for the project boards. But fat quarter shop has them for sale. They aren't hard to make.
I am stitching Jane Hopkins with DMC.
"Our lady of the circuit boards." 🤣🤣🤣

Lori Holt has a UA-cam tutorial for project boards.
I so look forward to every second Sunday and a new video from Stuart! I'm stitching Oh Sew Crafty by Caterpillar Cross Stitch today.
Spending time with my girl Louise Chauvelier, 1882 (Reflets de Soie)😊
Lovely to share another Sunday morning with you, Stuart. I'm not on a "buying ban" so I ordered that Heartstring Samplery piece and one other from my LNS while watching you.
"Cowboys and Aliens" is an actual movie (and comic book). It's a fun watch!
Question, can we see a photo of the cabinet of doom?
I am stitching on the Galliana sampler that she released during the pandemic. Would you consider showing us your stitchy spot or doing a full WIP parade? Happy stitching. I hope you have a good 2 weeks.
If you Google Lori Holt design board you will see a couple of tutorials. Thank you for sharing your work!
Thanks Stuart ❤

Another great Flosstube. I'm stitching the last stocking from The 12 days of Christmas Stockings by Annie Belcher. What interfacing do you use?
I am working on ANZAK by Long Dog Samplers whilst watching you today. Again I enjoyed your bags from the cupboard. Looking forward to seeding your projects continue to grow
