      Age is No excuse the new electric winches are so easy to operate you have an autopilot so on get a new girl go sail.

    My boat is also made by Mallard. For 25 years I have my 1977 Farr 727 and I love it, and is now working on several upgrades, and your videos are a big help. thanks

    Can you do me a favor friend whenever your out in the ocean in the the can you try to capture the stars where theres no light pollution or any clouds or anything just the stars? Itd mean a lot of you could safe journeys friend

      Go on a cruise.
      I loved taking cruises in Puerto Rico so much I did it 5 times. The island is amazing and way better port than miami.

      out on the ocean you will never be able to take a long exposure because the boat is always moving, but the imagination of such a picture is fabulous I get you in that point!

    Keep on going, great story...I just had 5 heart bypasses n will be sailing when I get my money by spring. Can’t wait when it’s in your blood

      Me too 5 bypasses in 2017 so decided time to buy a boat to start to go blue water again . I did sail ireland canary islands in 1988 but ran out of cash trying to keep a 33 foot prout ranger cat going so had to give up and sell up .Now hopefully rental income from small apartment will keep me going next time in 2020 when the 50 year old 27 foot mono hull craft is fully repaired

    I'm glad you bought the Boat. Besides being your home it really brings a balance to ones life.
    I'm glad you survived the crash and can still walk today.
    Thank you so much for these videos. My body is too old and beat up to sail anymore. These videos are a godsend for getting through Covid-19 too.

    I have been following your channel for a while now. Watching this video today, during the final period of my masters with not much more than sailing in my mind really made smile.     cool blog. thanks for sharing some of the adventure stories. Seems to me you always knew what you wanted was being with the boat, sailing seas, and who knows what soul search brings you to it, but the ocean is calling and you keep answering. I'm not at sea but I can hear that oceans quiet whisper myself.

    Merci pour ce résumé de l'avant et du pendant l'acquisition de ce beau bateau. Cela fait quelques jours que j'ai découvert ta chaîne et que j'ai regardé les 35 épisodes. J'attends la suite avec impatience. En plus c'est un excellent exercice pour mon anglais qui je l'avoue n'est pas des meilleurs mais bon c'est ma 4ième langue.     Your removal of the keel was the only one I have seen of any of the boat refits. I would trust your boat far more than I would some others around whose keels are bolted on.
