    The man with blue uniform should be paid very well... since in only 120 second he absorbed 74 throws, i couldn't image it how hard it was.

    Look at how beautiful this martial art is!
    One of the worst decisions in my life dates back from when i was a kid, i've watched the world cup and decided i wanted to play football.
    So i started playing football and left my dojo, where i was a blue belt at 9 years old, in a dojo with an active olympic medalist often teaching us.
    Wish i can find the time to start practicing again 🥲

      blue belt in judo at 9 years old congrats your better than everyone in this martial art lmao. It takes at least 6 years to have blue belt if you started at age 10, and probably 10 years if you started at age 5 since you have bicouloured belts so you don't become black belt at age 13. Either you are lying or your coach was a fraud. From a french judoka.

      Fireman's carry does exist in judo under the name Kata Guruma (shoulder wheel). The founder of judo, Jigoro Kano, had watched demonstrations of European wrestling while training Jujutsu and decided to try the fireman's carry technique on a larger opponent during randori. It worked really well and later when he developed Judo he included the technique as part of the curriculum.

    I doubt this will be seen, but I have a question.
    In my tabletop game/story, one of the members of the big party I have is about 8 foot.
    Would he be more likely to be using his size to overpower someone smaller than him, or could he still use these despite being taller than most people? Or would it be more accurate to have him use his strength to knock someone's feet out and then push them to the ground should he have to non-lethally take someone down?

    • @DrStuff142
      @DrStuff142 2 роки тому

      he'd be limited in the sorts of techniques he can use, but being huge just means its easier to throw dudes into the dirt. being taller in judo means theres more space between your opponent and the ground, so itll hurt plenty
