Boh non vedo in Portnoy il ruolo di leader. nel senso che nella band, tutti ci mettevano il loro genio a differenza di altre band dove c'è un membro che fa praticamente da direttore artistico (tipo i Megadeth con Mustaine, dove alla fine ha lui la prima e pure l'ultima parola su tutto). Semplicemente son passati gli anni, probabilmente sarebbe finita così pure con Portnoy

Ecco, in questo secondo me, Mike Portnoy avvicinava i fan, oltre naturalmente alla musica. Mangini è un fuoriclasse della batteria, i suoi assoli sono eccezionali tecnicamente, ma non mi avvicina alla band. Personalità e ruoli diversi naturalmente, però qualcosa è andato perso dal 2010 per come la vedo io. Semplice opinione personale.
