    I’ve been toying with the idea of rebuilding my friends shocks so I’m geeking out over this video

    Thank you for this video. He helps me understand more how to set things I will get together with my son and we will do some more adjusting to make the KRX ride like we like. Thank you keep up the good work.

    Very nice man, I followed along pretty good. I do my own shocks as well but I never understood the math, I just know what it needs or doesn't by driving it and adjust from there, (not very scientific) so it's cool to get the technical explanation. Can't wait until the next one! 👍

    Thank You, I did learn a lot which would seem counter intuitive. I wish my machine had more than just a single spring to work with but spring prices here in Canada are plain ridicules!

    So if a person was only rock crawling/slow technical trail riding would you want taller and softer springs??? Very interesting video I like how y’all post this kinda stuff!!

    • @d3offroad
      @d3offroad  15 днів тому

      Personally no, I would still want correct length and rate because when you go taller softer spring you need to add more preload to achieve the same ride height… springs are not intended for a soft flexy feeling that is achieved with valving the springs job is to support the weight above it without to much preload

      @@d3offroad well said. Honestly it really makes sense now that you say that! That’s why we like your videos and the information you provide!! 🍻

    What considerations need to be made for driver and passenger weight. and rear cargo weight? Really appreciate the videos!

    • @d3offroad
      @d3offroad  15 днів тому +1

      You will want to setup your preload and spring rate according for all of that weight so if you have springs on your car and you know their weights measure their length with people in the car and gear loaded up to see if you get the desired ride height that 1-2” of preload. If you need to run 3-5” of preload with that weight added you need new springs

    Would you happen to know the spring rate of the all things utv tender springs? I’m running factory lower springs and those tenders. My krx will beat you to death at any speed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      I do not I would need to buy a set and put them on the press and measure them but I can say the doing internal valving will greatly increase the comfort of the ride

    What spring company do you recommend for the krx

      Eibach springs or MTS or Schmidity are all our go to choices for quality springs
