Thank you. This could be finally the end of my problem. Long as it's not built into the fuel pump a 2001 Saturn fuel tank pressure sensor I replaced the vac box charcoal filter. I replaced the celluloid on the block. I replaced the solonoid canister at the fuel inlet. Still check engine light P0446 for evaporation of fuel code ridiculous. These cars are overeengineered with all these sensors just for saving fumes, every time you open your gas cap, I can't catch them.
I have p1450, purge valve is good and has been replaced twice , have sudden rpm drop randomly when idling like it’s about to shut off but doesn’t 2018 f150 eco boost 3.5
On my 2008 Nissan Frontier LE has the pressure sensor in a canister along with another sensor . No in line filter. The gas won't go in if they go bad . It will keep the hose from the gas pump cutting off over and over. But really slow I manage to get gas in the truck. Oh and if you need one make sure you tell them it goes in the canister on the frame near the back of the truck.
I have a p0456 small evap leak, and a smoke test shows no leaks. Sometimes under load I get a strong gas smell in the Air conditioning and the evap vent area by the filler tube. Wonder if this could be the cause?
Does that sensor on certain vehicle read atmospheric pressure through holes externally and if they get dirty cause issues. Mechanic told me mine is malfunctioning cause the rust proofing guys sprayed oil on it. Or are these sensors sealed and that's BS.
Hello ,I have a honda accord 2017 ,I did replace the cluth and desconect the ECU a few times and When I star the car now has a few codes pop up, P107,po113,p2122,po102,p0452,,p0641,p0192 I will appreciate your help c
Another symptom, depending on your vehicle, removal of the fuel cap, while running, can cause a rough idle or cause the engine to die. 2007 Hyundai Accent (Mexico: Dodge Attitude.)
Went to autozone to get my check engine code looked at. Of course their is no man around to help. They have a woman their who don't know anything about cars. She does the reading to check my engine. Says it's the Fuel tank pressure sensor. Now I ask where is that located to gage weather or not I can make the repair myself. I look up online and my search brought me video mislabeled to indicate Fuel injector pressure sensor. So I am thinking replacement is gonna be easy since it's right on top of my engine. I have a 2007 Ford focus. I order the part through autozone and guess what. The part is different. I did get a Fuel tank pressure sensor. But it's not the fuel injector pressure sensor I thought it was. So now I have this $140 part. I don't have the tools and know how to get to my gas tank. So I will need to take this to a shop. Awesome!
I took my 2015 ram 1500 truck to Autozone and was told it was the fuel tank pressure sensor but that part was not available to available to Autozone. 😮
I have a 2009 ford focus where exactly is the fuel tank pressure sensor located ? Is it right under the spark plugs ? From 05-09 they all have the same engine to my knowledge
Hope this was meant with sarcasm. It looks like someone took a lot of clips from other people's content, spliced it together and threw in a bunch of random obvious facts. The only content in the video that I thought may be of use was the estimated costs of repair.
Thank you for the video until this video. I thought id dumped 8 gallons of bad gas in my fuel tank. Turns out imay have a vacuum leak. I own a 2002 infiniti g20. A week ago i noticed the maf sensor tube that connects to the air filter housing. Needed to be repaired (2 tabs had broken a bit. So i went ahead and used jb weld 2 part plastic weld to rejoin the plastic and left it to cure. After 24hrs. I reinstalled oem airintake tube maf tube and filter housing. Got in and started car. And car started running irratically And herez the main symptoms. Easy to start. And above 1200 rpms. Youd not even think anything is wrong. But when the rpms hit fall below 1100-1200. The tach acts more like how an altimeter guage would be displsaying thealtitude change with the plane in a stall dive plumeting toward earth at terminal velocity. Or faster. Yes the tach drops to zero. That fast once u cross below the 1100, 1200 rpm threshold. And engine will shut off or stall. Out. It idles strong and healthy at 1200. But on some kind of count cycle. That is i think between 30 seconds up to 60 seconds or oits every 45 seconds it does this i wanna say. Precision controlled. Rpm blip. Whrre yhe rpm jumps ftom 1250 to a precise rpm of i yhink orit seems like 1500. Like. Blip.. blip.. blip.. the decel and accel during these 3 rpm jumps. Seems like its a fully computer vontrolled action. Like its doing some kind of open loop(actively checking for new data incoming from sensors. So it can know what it needs to do. After the 3gontrolled throttle blips. Tge rpms will drop beliw 1200. And its in this rpm range 0-1000. And you try to accelerate. By depessing the gas pedal, it sputters hesitatez strugglesl like hell unyil the 1200 rpm once it reaches 1200 rpms. Its instantaneously starts running perfectly or if not perfectly it starts running 99999% correctly. Does any of this help to narrow down. What the falty part maybe. To add hopefully to help inform. Over yhe past 3-6 months. The car would sporatically. Upon placing the vehicle in park or also maybe ehile stopped at s light. The idle would suddenly sharply increase to a really high rpm idle. Most yimes a blip on the gas pedal would bring idle back down to its normal its regular rpm.

Ok nice is it necessary to remove the tank if I want to replace fuel tank pressure sensor ?

You ordered it!!!
The irony, you trying to demean women, for your own shortcomings… 😂
Sounds like you shouldn't attempt this repair yourself 😂
