BackBreaker: The Underrated Football Game You Never Played

- BackBreaker is 13 year football game that time has largely forgotten. That's really a shame considering this game is quite the gem.
With a multiseason franchise mode or a "road to backbreaker" mode that has a sense of progression, this game has some of the deeper modes that APF 2K8 was lacking. With the insane physics engine this game has, it has aged quite well, even if the texures on some of the players have started to look a bit dated.
If you're a football fan who has never given this game a thought, I highly recommend you check it out!

This is my holy grail of football gaming. I remember scoring my first touchdown in this game trucked a linebacker into the end zone and that was it I was hooked! Never felt more real to score or tackle
Physics are still fun and unpredictable unlike other sports games these days.
If I had a gaming studio I would be all in on using euphoria engine for a football game.
Backbreaker tech wasn’t appreciated back then. It was way ahead of its time.
But if it released in today’s era it would be goated and revolutionary. Game really does need a true sequel
I miss this game so bad playing it as a kid I wish they would let us play it on next gen instead of getting a old console just to play it
Picked it up for $1 at flee market for ps3, needed something to hold me till maximum football comes out at end of 2023!!! 😉
