Uhm... didnt you already hear? Thats what LEgacy will be. Fitting name realy even thou Bethesda still holds the game and thus the name right (Yea ST:Legacy is still a thing and still played!). And yes all we know is that it features the G and Seven as captain.
As far as the "size" issue is concerned. Having examined the specs and comparisons the "G" is probably almost the same size as the "E" in terms of interior volume.
No. Even if you remove the nacelles and pylons the soveriegn class is still bigger in terms of both length and in terms of volume. The length of a soveriegn class hull from bow to fantail is about 530m-540m while the connie3 loses at least 100m from it's 560m without it's nacelles and pylons so it's still not even close.
@@armymatt83 I’m kinda confused by this. The ship is literally a refit constitution class, called the Constitution III. Knowing that, the ship is shorter than the E’s nacelle.
One year later, and I still feel like either Picard season four Picard 2.0 Legacy continuing on with this crew from this last episode 100% a ratings success
I do love the fact that over all 3 seasons of Picard the new badges had the silver background and to me that represented that Starfleet wasn't at it's best and now at the end of series they are gold again like they always have been. To me that was Starfleet finally getting back to full strength.
The natural conclusion to the narrative would have been to name the Titan the USS PICARD . I'm fine with it being the G now. But thematically for the show, it makes more sense that the ship his son serves on is named after Jean-Luc Picard, as the theme was about leaving a legacy. They covered the legacy of The Enterprise by having the A, D, and F show up in the show. Riker and Troi's legacy with their children is covered. The legacy of the Dominion War is covered by the old soldier Worf. Raffi's kid is her legacy. Geordi's kids are his. Crusher and her sons. Data 2.0 is the legacy of Soong and all the Soong-droids before him. The revealing of the re-christened Titan as the U.S.S. PICARD would have capped off that theme for Jean-Luc's character for this season, and the dreadful other seasons as well. A miss when swinging for one last nostalgia-hit. Not a complaint, just an observable flaw.
With his, " aversion to fanfare, " Picard would never have been comfortable with the ship out there bearing his name. No,this was the right call. Indeed, Picard has never been about fame and glory for himself and his name, that wasn't his style. It was about making a difference and ensuring that the Enterprise legacy was passed on to a new generation.
Thank goodness Starfleet didn't scrap Enterprise 1701-A, despite the pounding she took from that prototype Klingon bird of prey with the capability to fire while cloaked.
I like to think Seven took a line out of Kirk's book, not his regular line but his last while in command. "First star to the right...and straight on 'til morning."

This should have been it, One season this is what so many of us wanted.
It should have been the "USS Picard" ... then you could even have done a Season 4 without it not making sense
There was no Season 4 planed.
@@BullGator-kd6ge yaa but Star trek the last generation
At 4:25, the music from ST The Motion Picture and as it applies to Seven: "The Human Adventure is just beginning"
While I do like this ending, I think it would have been poetic if it ended with Jack taking Jean Luc through the corridors of the ship, with Jean Luc telling jack "Well she's [not] a new ship, but she's got the right name. Remember that. you treat her like a lady and she'll always bring you home".
I don't think the Enterprise G is seven's ship. I thought it might be Picard's. Jack said it was your ship to Picard.
Jack: So, Captain. What will it be?
Seven, rolls eyes in exasperation: Can we just get this bucket of bolts moving?
Now i want a series with Enterprise G crew.
This ship earned her name
As a nod to her Constitution I and Constitution II namesakes of the 23rd century that came before with the Enterprise name and the 1701 registry number.
I really hope they actually do this series because they missed out on having Sulu and that group
You referring to Generations on Enterprise B?
@@Cha0sCloud I think more the USS Excelsior.
"What's in a name?" Everything.
I'm not crying. I just have a cangeling in my eye...
F'ing solids...
if this didnt make you cry, you might be a vulcan
Think it’s going to best Star Trek ever can’t wait been a Trekkie since 1968 the original series still my favorite but this new Picard Star Trek g enterprise With seven Jack it’s going to be one heck of a ride for sure ❤
Now this would be an interesting series to watch.
A shakedown cruise only. Let's hope all the doors open properly.
IF there is anything Star Trek is good at, it's making me feel special geesh I love the entire franchise
Helm: Ready for Warp Captain.
Captain: Execute!
1:39 "Brand new ship but she's got the right name. Now you remember that, you hear! You treat her like a lady and she'll always bring you home."
Except she is not a new ship at all.
@laz7354 Technically, it is a new ship but that doesn't matter. It was appropriate, almost considered a tradition. Since that line was quoted by DeForest Kelley on the TNG pilot episode.
This never stops to make me smile
2:16 Picard’s reaction here moved me to tears!
Looks great. My guess is she simply says, "Proceed"
few things brings tears to my eyes, but this made me super emotional and im proud of it
Love Jack doing the Picard tug down on his tunic while he's pacing.
The enterprise lives on
It feels like jacks dialogue when he's offscreen is ADR as the way its shot makes it feel like the ship being rechristened enterprise was a late change it feels like originally the ship was going to be the U.S.S. Picard
this needs to be a show.
it's strange that two former borgs (picar and 7) led the resistance against the borgs, and at the moment of their triumph they defeated them!
Love it
The fact that we never got a new show about the Enterprise G is a shame. It has the makings of some great TV.
A show with that crew and ship would be damn interesting. Jack has a Riker like swagger at times that could be interesting in the writing, and Seven of course still plenty of lines of character development. Add in the rest and well, even the worst writers in Hollywood should do OK lol.
I mean, Kurtzman had Jean-Luc Picard, Guinan and Riker and he STILL managed to fuck everything up somehow.
Uhm... didnt you already hear? Thats what LEgacy will be. Fitting name realy even thou Bethesda still holds the game and thus the name right (Yea ST:Legacy is still a thing and still played!). And yes all we know is that it features the G and Seven as captain.
As far as the "size" issue is concerned. Having examined the specs and comparisons the "G" is probably almost the same size as the "E" in terms of interior volume.
Have you seen how big the constitution class is to the sovereign? Not to mention the oddesy class. It is way to small.
It’s Enteprise C sized so it’s not that small
@@chingus-6696it has nothing in common with the old constitution class other than looking a little like it. 560m vs 305.
I really wish they had kept the name Titan -A. The ship had really earned it
i love how some of the ship sounds are the beeps from the original series hard to catch them unless you are listening to the background also
Janeway would be so proud 🥹🥹🥹
The Flagship of the federation should represent strength both in name and the ship itself, this Enterprise is by no means a force to be recon with. J/K
"So, what will it be?"

"Fantastic Four!"
Let's "G" what she's got!
One year later, and I still feel like either Picard season four Picard 2.0 Legacy continuing on with this crew from this last episode 100% a ratings success
Nice that they sneaked in the Genesis Planet theme from Star Trek III, towards the end.
"A ship in harbor is safe, but that's not what ships are built for" - John A Shedd
Seven: "Let's ROCKET!"
LOL, nice "Power Rangers in Space" reference.
I do love the fact that over all 3 seasons of Picard the new badges had the silver background and to me that represented that Starfleet wasn't at it's best and now at the end of series they are gold again like they always have been. To me that was Starfleet finally getting back to full strength.
I liked this season. They honored the fans by giving us the Enterorise back.
Even the NX-01 Enterprise was there...in the background.
Yeah, I see a new series in the making right here.
Jack: So, Captain. What will it be?
Seven: Punch it!
this reminds me a bit of the opening scene of generations with the enterprise b
Truly an amazing feat of script writing, built up over almost 60 years when a starship becomes one of the crew.
Since they gave 7 the captain's chair, they should have let the doctor from Voyager be the ship's doctor.
That's one way to say the USS Enterprise has come home, full circle to an updated Constitution Class Vessel.
The 3rd Constitution class Enterprise 1701, 1701-A, 1701-G
Thank goodness Starfleet didn't scrap Enterprise 1701-A, despite the pounding she took from that prototype Klingon bird of prey with the capability to fire while cloaked.
With the motion picture theme of Kirk giving the command, I'm thinking out there... That away! The human adventures continued!
I like to think Seven took a line out of Kirk's book, not his regular line but his last while in command.
"First star to the right...and straight on 'til morning."
There needs to be a Last Generation Television series.
Sevens line: "Let's g.t f.o." ....clearly 😂
