How does a 2016 RS3 with an exhaust, intercooler and tune get less HP than this gen RS3?
Because its virtually the same engine and the results will vary on different dynos and fuel. 99ron full stage 2 set up with forge fmic makes about 440hp realistically
Somewhere in the timeline an OPF was added if my memory serves me right.. I think it killed some hp

Habe mir auch einen RS3 8p gekauft...lasse den Motor komplett umbauen und verstärken...bis jetzt 17.000€ nur an Motorteile ,Upgrade Turbolader 500 Ps, Ladeluftkühler,Sportansaugung, R8 Zündspulen, Platinzündkerzen , Steuerkettensatz, Ölpumpe,Motorölkühler, Downpipe und 200 Zeller Kats umgebaut. Zuletzt wird es auf gesunde 500Ps mit 700Nm abgestimmt. Und das schöne ist ,das alles im Fahrzeugschein eingetragen wird.

yeah, I believe it is just a language mistake, but several times you said DQ400, which is wrong. No such gearbox for the RS3, it is for the Hybrid VAG cars. The correct name for the RS3 is DQ500.

Nick 0-60 mph is not a 0-100 run. I did 0-100 kmh in 3,91 and that run was 3,69s from 0-60 mph

Don't know if it actually has something to do with the Aerodynamics of the car, but I honestly expected that RS3 to pull alot harder above 250+ kph as it really struggles reaching 280kph, considering the fact it powers more than 450hp. Stage 1 kit with "only" 360bhp gets my 2014 Cupra to 280 kph almost with ease, which is why I am a bit sceptical if the RS3 really got those 450hp. Sound-wise it's lit though, the 5-cylinder is such a lovely engine and the RS3 a beautiful car.

@Spongebob Schwanzkopf Da ist was dran. Ca. 380 PS würde ich dem RS3 noch zutrauen, was absolut in Ordnung ist, weil die Karre schon ziemlich gut zieht. Aber das ist ja fast schon lächerlich, das Fahrzeug mit so viel Leistung anzugeben, zumal die Erwartungen da schon hoch sind. Ist ja fast schon so lächerlich wie Elmerhaus.
Correct. The aero is shit. TTRS 8j has same drivetrain but in sleeker coupe form and lighter so is a bit faster at higher speeds

Only thing which I don't like with these new RS3s are these filters they are putting in for emissions. I heard they toned down the newer RS3s in terms of pops and bangs.

You're talking about a different TVS here my friend. This TVS Engineering is a tuning company from Netherlands and not a motor company from India.
What's the point of the cone air intake? Surely the original item would be superior drawing colder air from outside the engine bay.
That's why it has a heat shield, when you close the bonnet it forms a seal so it sucks air from outside. Plus the fact it increases noise which is usually a positive if you're into modifying your cars.
