Absolutely. Absolutely knocking it out of the park REDCAT. as aproud owner of the very unfortunate volcano epx pro. Version 1 might i add' anyway i knew then something was good. I own each of the crawlers including the Everest 10 most recently grabbed the rcmt10e great little runner. Point bieng Redcat has gone Leaps and Bounds in the past 12 years or so again that very first Redcat volcano what a headache but you just knew something was good around the corner hats off to you Redcat great job

I gotta say I love how far Redcat has come, I picked up a Gen 8 V2 not long after it released and it's been my fave runner for a long time, defo gonna stick with redcat if their aussie distribution holds up.
You guys are doing it right.
Cant wait to try one of these out. Gonna put it side by side with my Ecto and see what it can do.

This is my first redcat. Plan to do simple mods that anyone new to rc can do themselves. Simple esc, wheels and shocks. I enjoy this rig in stock form but has alot of aftermarket support.

Redcat watching and listening to what ppl want. And that price point is great. Been running a couple gen8 v2s since it's release and they take a beating. Most ran rigs in our fleet.

@vincevargas7892 I've been patiently waiting for Redcat to release an LCG. I hope the price isn't an indication of quality though.
@@blackhat_rc Based on what the price of other crawlers, the axles are based on the gen 9. It seems to be similar to the Axial SCX Pro, at a fraction of the cost. Granted there are material differences between the two. This should hurt Axial's sales of the their PRO model. Red cat didn't try to totally reinvent a new model, there is already after market brass for the axle.
Are those just the gen 8/9 portals?

Super cool, personal opinion the wendigo axles would have been a better choice giving it a wider stance but awesome job!

I was at Proline by the Fire when they where show & the videos & pictures do no justice for them the red Crawler body was super nice the color was beautiful & the other I thought was a Proline body it’s awesome. Then what really matters the bosses came off for a thorough look at chassis to be honest it didn’t look anything that Redcat previously had it had a 35 kg servo & look llike a custom build with a frame that looked like a flat rail LCG. I asked the price & just about fell over I don’t know how the did it but it puts them back in the Crawler game & there is no way rhe aftermarket brands are not going to fully support the new models.

The Red body one will come in at $289.99 and the One with the 2 Piece blue body will come in at $299.99 both as RTR's

Yeah it's a new one they have.
I tried to order that Redcat Ascent today and had a truly HORRIBLE experience with Redcat's customer service that resulted in me canceling the order and telling them where to go. No apologies from them, no nothing. Awful experience. I will NEVER own a Redcat product after this.

I like the chassis but the body looks like Crap.
Looks can be deceiving sometimes. The minute you drive it looks don't matter.
