I did this DIY with photos from my Cancun Mexico girls trip in 2023. Of course, I added some of my own crafting which made a wonderful wall decoration. Thanks for getting me started!!!😊

lol I do from time to time draw a blank! That's when I look for inspirational pieces! I have a book that I always keep with me so when I see something that I want to recreate or an inspirational piece I write it down for those times that I am drawing a blank👍🏻

I love love those plates.. it is so stinking cute, you are the best in all of your DIY 's thanks for sharing.
I've been wondering where I can find those really pretty and girly plate holder things. I want some pale pink ones for my shabby chic decor, or if I can just find the holder thing, I can always spray paint it! I actually made a couple of these plates using shabby chic flower pictures, cutout from napkins in the center of the plate and then used some shabby chic polka-dot fabric over the flowers after they dried. I'm TOTALLY gonna do the photo ones for some Christmas gifts this year! And FYI... {in case you're interested.... I have used a thousand different brushes, etc... to apply the mod podge. Wellllll, I actually discovered that using those little triangle makeup sponges are SOOOO SUPER PERFECT for the mod podge!} I swear it goes on sooooo smooth!!! And there's no streaks and you have sooo much control over exactly where you want to put it {especially when you only want it on PART of the item you are working on!} 😘

We're still having a tough time, financially, and it's really been weighing on me not being able to afford gifts for everyone that I normally do. But, this made my heart beat a little faster, lol!! I did the same thing quite a few years ago when my children were babies for my ex-mother in law. She loved them. Unfortunately, she passed a few weeks ago. She may have been my ex-mother-in-law but we remained friends and she always considered me family.
