More Tips on the Yardistry Gazebo Assembly
assemblyhub.us...
First and foremost, we would like to tell you, to always follow the instructions that came with the Yardistry Products and the safety guidelines recommended in the instructions.
With that, Thank you for watching and Please Subscribe to Our Channel and Like This Video if it helps you Out...
This is a Yardistry Gazebo 12 by 14 foot with Sheet Metal Roof. They are very well built. The roof has to be the most challenging of the assembly of the Gazebo. So we share with you how we Attach the Roofs to the Gazebo...
We assemble Yardistry Gazebo through Assemblyhub.us, you can check us out or hire us for your assembly at assemblyhub.us
We can take care of you, give us a call.
**********************************************************
We used a long stick and a pole as a safety for the roof, just in case one breaks, buys me time to connect the roofs.
You have four corners of the Gazebo to bolt together, three in each area.
Once Done, all four roof panels, and bolted, you can start screwing in the screws in the Cross-Members that hold the roof up.
The roof weighs about 75 - 100 lbs, each sections. The roof is about 10 feet 9 inches, some are 7 or , but around that height is good enough.
*** I put the top on after I have assembled everything, I climb up to the top and stretch out to place the cap. It's easier for me that way.
*** Tip, use some wood clamps if you have them, if not, then just raise the middle as high as possible to match bolt holes, to place bolts in and to secure easily.
I hope this video gives you an idea of what you would be doing and how hard it be and how long it would take... It took about an hour to put the roof on and another hour in an hour to 2, to complete the rest of the Gazebo.
Definitely hire someone to help you, if you think it is to much for you and always have someone around and knowing what your doing, so you have some protection, in case you get hurt, God forbid.

Very impressive, 2 folk and 2 ladders, genius process, thanks so much!
Thank you and good luck on your install...
Thank you for the useful info about the "Rafter Hight Setting Tool" and it's approximate length of 10' 9". This was by far the most helpful hint not offered in many videos reviewed before attempting the most difficult part of the Yardistry Gazebo construct.
Thank You So Much, and I am glad the video helped. Please Subscribe if you can...
Exactly Joe!🏆
Excellent job gentlemen. Thanks for the tips. We need another video of you guys enjoying some fine beverages under your new gazebo.
Thank you, glad it helped you. I wish we could but we install gazebos for customers, but our customers have offered us beers and shots though... 😁 Please Subscribe if you can.. Thanks again... Happy Pascha Day.
Gentlemen, thank you for recording this. I am ordering a similarly sized Yardistry gazebo, and the roof assembly sections had me sweating a little! It is good to see that it is easily done with a crew of two men. It looks like I know what I will be spending a couple of weekends doing!
Thank you for watching and I hope its an easy install for you. If you need help, hit me up... If you can subscribe that would be awesome to. Thanks again.
My boy holding the stick was parched lol. I gotta put the roof up on mine today . I guess my brother is gonna be holding the stick .
Great tips , awesome video .

Thanks for the video, I can definitely do this with 2 people now. Great job!

My dad and I bought one two days ago and are about to set up the roof as well! thanks for the video EXTREMELY helpful!!
Awesome, I am glad the video is helpful and that you and your Dad can get it assembled safely and fast. Please subscribe, if you can.
EXCELLENT video and tips! Especially advising on the height and needed stick/pole. Every other video said a minimum of three people and four ideal. Your 2-man roof install will now be possible for me. THANKS!
Awesome Mr. McCoy, Glad to be of help. Thanks for Subscribing and watching the video... Be Careful and always use two sticks... I am loading another helpful video on assembling the roofs... Check that video out too. Thanks again.
I did exactly, me and my wife installed 12'×12'.
@@gurpreetsaini5148 Nice, my apologize, I just saw this comment... But am happy you were able to pull it off with you and your wife. I pray many memories underneath it.
Thank you, very helpful and ditto on the music choice, much easier on the ears than other videos! Great job!
Thank You So Very Much, appreciate it... Hope your Gazebo Came Out Great. If you can subscribe to our channel would be awesome. Thanks again.
You guys just ROCK! Great video!! I am going to buy one of these (maybe two), but wanted to watch your work first. Very solid good info and much appreciated 👍🏽
Hi Mr. Cima... Thanks, glad it helped... I am sure you got this and if you need help, text or call me... My # easy to find... Please Subscribe... Thank you again...
I made two extra "helpers" - just cut an end knotch into two 3 metre 2 x 4's so the knotch slots onto the rafter beams no problem - found these invaluable to keep the roof in place as needed.
Awesome. Glad it worked.
I know I'm late to the party, but I bought the 12 x 14 version and the roof was the most challenging part I'm worried about. unless you have 4 guys. This is a great "how to" video on installing the roof. I even have the same hat one of you are wearing so I just need a 10' 4" supporting brace and I'm ready. thanks for taping your build.
Thanks, hope your able to get it done.
Thank you for the pole ideas. Very helpful and great tips. Really like the 2 men assembly. Hopefully, I can lift the roof like you this weekend. for my daughter's birthday party. Thank you so much.
Your Welcome and Thanks for watching and I am sure you will get it handled for your daughter's Bday party... Happy Birthday to your daughter, hope she has a fabulous, wonderful and full of memories bday party.
Please subscribe, if you have time, Thanks.
I'm in the same boat, hopefully I can complete this with the assistance of my brother.
@@JamesWoodsonIV I finished mine just yesterday but with three people.. I tried two but i,m 67 yrs old already. Anyway i build that alone and two of my friends came to help me raise the roof. Just took one hour to raise the roof and secure it. If you can get another person even just to hold the pole. will be a great help. Good luck you can do it. believe in yourself
I watched your video and told my son we should give a try. Naw. I had to get a third person and we struggled. Congrats on being able to do it with just two.
Thanks for watching and I am sorry to hear that... Yes it is pretty hard to do it with 2 ppl, if one hasn't assembled many gazebos, then 3 is more safer... I assembled close to 200, so far and learn tricks and tips, that I share...
I started by myself, so ya imagine that... I hope it went smooth and you and your family have many memories underneath it.
Thanks for posting your video. I just did mine with 3 people yesterday and it made it easy with that many ppl specially when you are doing it first time. However, TBH in your video, it appears only one person is doing most of the work LOL.
Thank you for watching and am Glad the video helped. LOL, Yes only 1 person was working and that was Me, the other person was the Home Owner, he wanted to help... I started off installing Yardistry Gazebos by myself, so I am use to the only one working... Please Subscribe to our channel and thanks again for viewing and commenting.
Thanks for posting this, My neighbour has this and said it took 4 guys and was nearly impossible to assemble. I figured I could do it solo but looks like 2 persons is a must
Your Welcome and you can do it yourself, but it takes some finesse, but very much possible... Be careful and good luck if you haven't assembled it yet. Please Sub, I can use all the help I can get... Thanks
Yeah well, I'd like to see you do that at 71 years old ... I used poles like that for bracing and only loosely installed a couple of the rafter bolts for the much needed final panel adjustments. Once it's all aligned and square sinch them down.
Awesome, if God grants me to make it to 71, Ill post another video... Hahaha. Hope your install went well.
good job. I am building my gazebo right now and I am about to put up the roof. Thanks for the info.
Awesome, hope it all goes well and smooth and our video helped a bit... Please subscribe... Thanks.
Super helpful thank you for posting! Working on the roof myself currently.
Awesome, Glad its helpful... Good luck and be careful, you got this
Excellent video series - thank you for sharing!
Sorry it was a bit late on the reply, my notification aren't coming in like they should. But Thank You So Much Watching.
Installing today, just 2 of us. Great video, thanks.
Good luck and Thanks for watching... Hopefully you saw some good tips...
Be careful as well...

Nice soundtrack!. Thank you.
Thank You for watching, hope our video helped. Plz Subscribe if you dont mind.
it took me approximately 3 days and didnt have any problem on installing the roof. i guess having everything squared in a flat surface helps.i got mine from costco, it includes 3 boxes and they are heavy, so if you are planning to get one to make sure bring a helper with you, or you can ask the costco staff and they will help you load into your vehicle...
I hope our video help with your process and if not then Thanks anyhow for viewing and commenting, please. Subscribe if you can. Yes a helper is very much needed. Great tip.
Good Work and Awesome tips, Love the Music too...
Thank you, so much.
Yeah, we just put up a 12 by 16 in our backyard, it took three people over 20 hours to complete. The hardest part seemed to be getting the 1000 + pound pallet off the delivery truck and in my backyard.
Lol... Right... I normally just start Assembling it wherever they drop the load and walk it back piece by piece... Glad to hear you got it all Assembled...

@@Madi-uj3tc Hi and Thanks for the question. For a 12x14 $850.00. It took about a day (8hrs) and then another day to install power, ceiling fan and lights.

Do you think this gazebo would hold a wooden swing ? From the rafters? With chain springs? I am loving your music.
Hi and Thank you... I believe so, but you would need to brace it and maybe add more support and use bolts and washers and lock nuts... I believe that would void your warranty on your gazebo tho, but not 100% sure.
I would recommend putting it on beams instead or rafters tho...
Please this is just my opinion and thoughts and not my companies recommendations or advice...
Good luck post a picture if you install one. Thanks
I built it by my self and with help from my little kubota tractor with a front scoop lol
Lol, heck ya... I did that for the custom Gazebo we built... (Used a tractor.) Glad it work out for you...
Hey try doing the 12 x 20 model with 2 people. We used a 2x4 plank instead to hold up the roof. What a nightmare of process for flushing up the soffits. All they had to do was include wider soffits.
Many of the mortise pieces were off and had to be corrected by hand.
Its a nice looking gazebo but an imperfect structural design for assembly as well as inconsistent workmanship.
very helpfull. thank you
Your Welcome, Glad to be of help... Thank You for watching... Please Subscribe if you can...
Does it help to check the frame for square before proceeding to roof panels?
Honestly, no... It is machine cut and measured, for the Most part it is squared.. So, it should all be correct.. You might have to lift here and there, to make it level in corners...
Remember it's wood and nothing is perfect.
I hope this helps you, and if you need any other help please reach out and please subscribe...
OK.... I am to the point of "raising the roof"... 10'4" pole or 11'5" pole for support? I see both lengths listed here. A couple items I encountered up to this point are:
1. About 4 of my pre-cut rafter material was mismarked as far as item numbers. It was pretty obvious (to me) which went where.... but don't believe everything you read. Pictures are worth a thousand words and their pictures are pretty darn good for an offshore item.
2. I replaced quite a few of the screws with longer screws due to them barely penetrating making a good solid connection... especially at angular corners.
Other than that I have blown through the assembly of this pretty good. But I also have quite a bit of construction background. But you really don't have to have any!! There are some tricky corners to screw together and furniture clamps come in handy if you are flying solo.
Awesome to hear and yes, they need to increase the length on some screws that connect the roof panels together.
Now, the height is not exact and either height can be used, it is just used to hold up close to the peak as possible, and to be held in place.
You will have to, move around the panels, to fit bolts in holes, once you have 2 or more panels, it will stay up, but I suggest to leave until 3rd panel in place.
Hope this helps and good luck...
Please like and subscribe... Thanks.
@@TKPLTD UPDATE! OK! Got the roof on...! With the help from 1 neighbor. But I have to tell you... I think the corners of the eaves of the roof look terrible!!! If I could add a picture here I would. When I assembled the roof sections, I noticed the piece that wraps around the bottom of the roof was short on ALL pieces! So now there is an ugly gap at each corner.... I am going to put a rain gutter around this with a downspout or 2 but that won't cover the corners.... ugh!
@@frankgarcia9184 on the corners, theirs a corner plate that covers the corners, if it's what I picture, your good.
This is a great video but I want to know how long were the support poles you used to hold up the panels while bolting them together.
I believe 11'5 but have to check tomorrow... Thank You for viewing and please if you can subscribe... Thanks a million...
@@TKPLTD Is the floor concrete?
@@Berrypancakes229 Yep.. Thanks for Subscribing and Watching. Are you going to assemble a Gazebo Soon?
@@TKPLTD Yes I’m planning on it. Did you purchase it at Costco? I like your concrete pattern.
@@Berrypancakes229 Thank You, but that is the Client's Concrete pad. The big guy in video, I Assemble these Gazebo for Yardistry and Costco... Yes, its Costco
My neighbor said that he found 2 guys and they quoted him $700 to build the Yardistry 12' x14' Gazebo and that they can do it in 2 hours then my neighbor was laughing and knew they were lying. no way it's impossible and I would give him $10,000 if he can do it in 2 hours from start to finish and if they don't finish in 2 hours the assembly will be free then all of a sudden they changed their mind said they can Assemble whole gazebo from box all the way to the roof in 8 hours..😅🤣
LOL, too funny, I been installing them for 5 years now and my fastest time, with 2 people is about 5 hours, by myself takes me about 9 hours and with 3 people about 4 hours and if I had 2 people who knew what to do, it would take about 3 in half hours... You have to many steps, that need to be done before others can be completed... Lets not talk about the pealing of the plastic on the tin, that takes about an hour or more. Hopefully your neighbor got it installed... Thanks for the comment on our video... It sounds like they were trying to scam your neighbor for a quick $700... Hopefully Not.
Two guys could rush this up in 4 hours if they had done that model before, and it would be a rough job with peices wrong or missed.
Did you nailed the bottom? Because i didn’t since I have pavers in the back yard so far I’ve had it for 5 weeks and no movement, the fastest winds I’ve seen in Phoenix has been 25 mph
Hopefully it won’t ever fly away thanks
Thanks for watching, this one, No, but it depends on winds and your decision, the Manufacture recommends it, as well as I, but up to you. They weigh almost 1k lbs.
I am sure your good.

Did you have to get HOA approval to build this?
@@maribelhernandez755 nope! It’s on my back yard and my back yard is facing the Main Street I’ve had it for over 18 months now and no complaints, I’m willing to take them to court if they said anything
Do you know about how much each assembled roof panel weighs?
Not sure, but a guess would be about 70 to 100 lbs or so... Hope that helps.. Please subscribe if you can. Thanks.
