built this exact one by myself a few weeends ago. Took 2 days to do, 19 hours total with an hour rain delay and an hour Home Depot run for a longer A-frame ladder. I created 2 support posts out of 4 2x4s to hold each roof panel as i lifted it up over the joist. it was one hell of a feat and i've had guys at work say i was nuts lol. also there were so many boards that didn't line up or were warped. that didn't help assembly either. so those of you who are putting this together, don't fret about stuff not lining up perfectly

Helped put one of these together over the last two days. Posts snd side pieces went up fine, plumb, level, and square. When we put the roof panels on, there were so many warped pieces right out of the box that we had to clamp the heck out of it and drill new holes to get the bolts through. Looks great once it was together, but getting the roof panels aligned was a serious chore. Also had to re miter most of the trim pieces at the bottom of each post. At least they were too long and not too short.
I was fortunate not having a warped wood pieces. It must be headache dealing with that. I'm glad your assembly looks great in the end. 💚 I appreciate your visit and comment 👍😊👍 Stay connected 🌸
I just finished my gazebo and everything was fine.. some bent pieces at the top between the long and short top roof pieces but we clamped them down and managed to clamp and screw them together. main part: we only used 2 - 10 ft two-by-fours to hold up roof pieces while we clamp them together. 😊😊😊😊😊
I'm glad the gazebo assembly experience went fine. It seems many are getting bent pieces in the comment section. I was lucky that my gazebo didn't get any bent pieces from my purchase. One question though, does Yardistry provide the Engineers Plans so that we can submit them to our local council for approval? Because where I live no plans equals no gazebo.

Expect it to take 2 to 3 hours to remove the plastic from the panels, etc. Sucks. On mine some of the wood parts didn't match completely so will hope it all works when the roof goes on.

Question... At 2:30, You attach the metal brackets to the inside of each post. You hand screw in a couple black bolts to hold the brackets on. The instructions then say to screw four screws from the inside that same bracket, right under the black bolts. I don't see you do this in your video, you only screw the bolts in from the bottom side. Did you completely skip this step? I can't figure out how to screw them in because there is not enough clearance to use a screwdriver or a drill. How do you do the step? This is right at the beginning of step one of the manual too, and I'm already confused!

As shown in the video, we initially built the gazebo stand. However, we soon realized that it wasn't properly leveled to the ground. Instead of disassembling the structure, we decided to use jacks to lift it and create a concrete footing underneath. Unfortunately, we weren't able to record that part.
It would be less than 9 hours total, for sure.. given that they are all carpenters. If I would do it again and I have two helpers who knows carpentry. It would be 6 hours max total. This is just assemble. No need to saw anything.💚 I appreciate your visit and comment 👍😊👍 Stay connected 🌸

Does the ridge clip sit flush on the roof panels? Cause the directions say for the bottom edge to be 2 3/4 up from the bottom of the corner rafters. I did that and it doesn’t look right. Your video speeds right past what you did there.

Great work! I was hoping to find this exact video as I just bought this same model from Costco. Looking to assemble mine in the next week or so. Any idea how heavy the roof sections are? If I need to recruit someone the more heads up I can give the better :). Currently only have 2 guys, myself included, to assemble.
How much space is needed to add the roof covers? I plan to install this next to my house on a 14x16 slab. My roof edge will be about 2ft max from the edge of the house! 🤔

Can anyone help, I’m having trouble with the small roof rafter assembly. I’m not sure how the 440 rafter (middle) attached the the Facia beam assembly. The rafter is angle on both ends not sure how it sits

I am stuck on step 26 Attached Twist Brackets They don't align up with gaps on top and on some post gap is on the bottom. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Thats allot of work. Its cheaper to buy a patio umbrella. Will this structure blow away in Strong winds say 70mph ?…. My patio umbrellas blow apart in 60mph winds if I don’t close them up.
I didn't really measure it but it fits just right on a mini van. If I remember, the passenger seat was all the way forward and the back seats are all out. I was able to close the back door, if I'm not wrong.
When I saw the word "Build", I mistaken is custom a design, but actually just the fifth grader labor to put things together, may be? Only in America here, else where had to use the materials to custom build it.🤣

how does it attach to the ground?
We use a cement foundation to level it. It was not in the video because the camera was not recording.

Three people is better and safer for lifting and connecting the roof assemblies. But two may do if you are tall and strong.
I found having two 3 metre 2x4's with a notch in one end to fit the roof rafter beams helped a lot.
One more tip - get a couple of construction helmets - smashing your head on a beam, or roof section falling on your head will hurt.

I got it from the warehouse stock. Easy to assemble with at least 2 people.
How much space is needed to add the roof covers? I plan to install this next to my house on a 14x16 slab. My roof edge will be about 2ft max from the edge of the house! 🤔

Can anyone help, I’m having trouble with the small roof rafter assembly. I’m not sure how the 440 rafter (middle) attached the the Facia beam assembly. The rafter is angle on both ends not sure how it sits

How many hours for two people did it take you to assemble this?

You guys did an amazing job, not like how my dad and his friends assembled it for me today. They completely messed it up and for some reason they felt it was okay. $500 for shitty work. So upset!

I am stuck on step 26 Attached Twist Brackets They don't align up with gaps on top and on some post gap is on the bottom. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
If you're refering to 21:37. I think, I just have to find the best spot where it seats almost flat and then screw the bottom first and then the top.
I had to bend mine to fit.

Thats allot of work. Its cheaper to buy a patio umbrella. Will this structure blow away in Strong winds say 70mph ?…. My patio umbrellas blow apart in 60mph winds if I don’t close them up.

144 x 40 inches.. I know the length is correct.. might be a little off on the width
I didn't really measure it but it fits just right on a mini van. If I remember, the passenger seat was all the way forward and the back seats are all out. I was able to close the back door, if I'm not wrong.
