Brotha i done spent around $250 On wire plugs sensors and full tune up. I just got this piece from amazon today i jst installed it myself and it runs like never before, the codes didnt come back on and it has more power that i couldve image it could. I really apreciate it.. i was going to replace the valve cover gaskets next that was costing me $450. Thanks!
Hey there I have same issue, I replace the coil pac still happens, spark plugs too also went and changed cyn.1 fuel injector and still have issue.. any other ideas?
I got a cylinder 5 misfire and went to the shop and they replaced all spark plug wires and ignition coil. (all spark plugs are good and new that I did a year ago). After the shop did that, cylinder 1 threw a misfire code and misfire less than 1000rpm startup code, so the idling was made worse. I'm thinking maybe something to do with back pressure from clogged cats since my engine light started flashing at me. Any thoughts? I have a 04 ranger 3.0 v6 2wd @226k miles
@@kylescreations4724 Update, I drilled holes in my cats and seemed to get a little more power, but intend to replace them. If that doesn't work I will get all new fuel injectors.
its the same coil pack for any of the 4 cylinders and the 6 my buddy has a 4 cylinder eco tech mustang that had the same issue and it ended up being the coil pack
Son just bought a used Ranger. It is doing the same thing. I really appreciate you posting this video. Gonna try the coil pack.

bad fuel pump or fuel filter can give similar issues . maybe spark plugs nopt sure if there the resistor type that can go bad

oxygen sensors or cam sensor could be the issue.
