Part of our plan was to ride several Ohio trails in the Dayton area - but the weather didn’t cooperate. So we had to make a few alterations and save those trails for another trip. We appreciate your continued support of our channel. Thanks.
I hope you achieve that goal - not necessarily being us - but going around the country riding great bike trails. Thanks for your kind words and for your support of our channel.
Another interesting trail, well presented by your channel. You guys represent what all retirees should aspire to accomplish in life, I sincerely congratulate you both.
When we started our channel in 2020 and up until June of 2023 - both of us were still working full time jobs! It took a little planning, but somehow we were able to ride trails regularly. We definitely have branched out since retiring; taking our big trip to the west coast last fall, and several trips this year. We are lucky to have our health and the means to continue these trips/rides. We really love getting out and seeing all the great things across the country. Thanks for your continued engagement with us.
That one intersection could use walk signals, or a bridge for sure!! It was harder to cross coming back than going down (later in the day). Thanks for watching.
@@karenleclerc3142 Just finished the video of our ride on the Monon today. It will be up on Sunday, September 8. We loved that trail and the Carmel area.
This is actually a very good video. The narration is informative, and you just talked me out of the Arizona Trail. I am 77 and live in Jasper, In. This video gives me a mission and an epic ride to look forward to in the Spring of 2025. Thank you. I must Like and Subscribe.
Unfortunately we do not. We really enjoy these bikes and have 2000 miles on them with little to no need for service! Here is some information you may find helpful: Our bikes are Gazelle Ultimate C8’s - a class 1 ebike. Our goal when purchasing our latest bikes were (1) get more mileage out of the battery, (2) sit straighter and more comfortably. We are very happy with these bikes as they can go up to 90 miles on a single charge in ECO (we’ve never gone more than 65 miles, but never had a worry about the battery), they sit straighter and the handlebars are adjustable. Also, the bike has a Nexus 8 system -- eight gears are built into the rear hub of the wheel. They are protected against the wind and weather, and this reduces wear and maintenance. Combine this with a belt instead of a chain and your bike maintenance is kept to a minimum. You can also shift from a complete stop, which is really handy if you’re crossing a road and forgot to downshift before-hand. It has hydraulic disc brakes, front and rear fenders, a fully functional back rack and front shocks. Lastly, Gazelle is a brand that you can find in bike shops all over the country - making it easier to find service should you need it.
Southeast Indiana and Southwest Ohio bicycle trails!
OH, YEAH!
Thanks for taking me with you two!

Do you have a video that talks about the e-bikes you use?
