Hi Ken, it was a good one and we'll set up for filming. We filmed Preston last week and that's a similar set up but the video is a bit longer. I considered cutting the video in two but that would interrupt the flow. We try to give the viewer an idea of what it would be like to be visiting the show rather than just filming the layouts. Thanks for watching Rick.
12:36 that person does look familiar! LOL Honestly the reason I decided to come to the exhibition was to see Kennington Cross. Which is a stunning layout with the Trams and suggested from another UA-camr (who I was chatting to off screen at the Sandaig layout) Really like the Model Railway show and also will be at Macclesfield Model Railway Exhibition. Great video and also nice to meet you.
Hi Simon, the trams are always a joy to see. We will be at Macclesfield on Sunday. We have never been before so we are really looking forward to it. Cheers Rick
A great video and a great day, the loo layout is a great idea, a wonderful idea. The best layout for me is the O gauge seabury town & preservation society. What a absolutely fabulous layout. Thanks for sharing the N gauge bargains. Nice to see those in your bargain hunting. Have a great week and look forward to seeing your next video.
Hi Paul, we have seen a lot more N gauge recently so you will be happy with the next video as well. Great layouts at the show in all scales and era's. Thanks for watching Rick.
Very good vidio , next time the tutorial will be point control and turntable! We will also let Richard have a go so he dos'nt feel left out. Glynn, Sandaigh.
Excellent video guys, nice to get to see the exhibition, one of the best. Appreciate all the work editing Rick, very well done and thank you. A great weekend was had by all. Come back next year. ✨️
Hi Stuart, it was a great show and we had a fab time. We will definitely be back next year. Thanks to everyone for putting on the show. All the best Rick
Great video Rick nicely edited, looks like you both had a great day, I can't believe the layout that had a tiny working model railway what a piece of engineering.
Great video love looking at the layouts some fantastic engineering with the small trains going round and as for Pauline driving a train and trying to with the tank unlucky not to get it on the back of the truck 👍
Hi Clive, amazing trains indeed, quite remarkable how those tiny trains work! Pauline did get the tank on the train but it didn't want to stay there lol. All the best Rick.
Hi guys, another great video, I,v got the wrenn peak freans wagon and the centenary coaches. Really nice models, good buy. Should have got the 33 Rick.. All the best guys. Carl.
Hi Carl, I will get a 33 at some point, you know how it is there is always something else that catches the eye. I saw a nice one last week at the Preston for £20 which I really should have bought. All the best Rick
Another awesome video you two! There is so much to see and experience. It was a bit melancholy to know the one layout was to be torn down, as beautiful as it was, even if to make a bigger, better version. The star of the show had to be Seabury Town and Preservation Society's layout. Absolutely stunning automation and animation. The little layout on that layout reminded me of Miniatur Wunderland. There they have a mdoel of the part of Hamburg MW is in, and the model of the building they are in has a mini running layout inside that model building. Smaller than the ones running on Seabury, but so clever on both! Obviously, all the layouts are sharp and clever, event he lavvy seat one. lol Thanks for the tour!
Glad you enjoyed the video Anthony, quite the mixture there if not the kitchen sink then at least a toilet. I agree it does seem a shame to see layouts go but a modeller has to keep modelling. All the best Rick.
Hi, their Rick & Pauline😊, Well it does look like a nice show and to start off you do a good over all video if it 😛. The first Layout is net!!!! Great wagons that you are looking at their wow. Some grate looking Layouts and the Toilet one ?? ok!!! At 20%off I think you shood get the Liverpool one🤑. Ok yes, it is not the right gauge. Wow nice cars and some Corgi's and so tiny of the Train going around yes!!! And more for you to by Rick lol great video and you all take care😂
Quite a long and interesting video, well done… The layout with the moving people, pops out of all the layouts to me, It gives the layout that extra that always something is happening even if no train is running, a well done to the builders. Although I'm not interested in N stuff, the Japanese layout was also very interesting, although I didn't like the oval track setup, a longer starched layout without any visible sharp corner radians would give the bullet trains a more realistic setting. But the Japanese blossom park was a very well executed detail. Some nice bargains also. Those Airfix coaches you bought look lovely, I'm a real fan of the Airfix stuff, they got a very good finish, that sill is up today's standard. Wouldn't trust pauline with a tank though…😉😂 Cheers, Danny
Hi Danny, I agree that O gauge ok layout was something else wasn't it. It's always good to see a wide variety of layouts and we certainly got that here. The Airfix coaches are quite nice and I now have enough for a full train. Funnily we bought a tank at the show but I won't mention that. 😂 All the best Rick.
That French layout is a true European classic, with the very sturdy Marklin catenary 11:34 Could be one of the many French ones that use practically the same body style. These are often grouped under the name 'BB Jacquemin' 12:29 That's a very French Micheline Type 11 railbus. The real ones have rubber tyres
Hi Michael, it's hard to tell to be honest. I would suggest ringing the organisers first to be on the safe side. The smaller shows in church's and community centres are generally the best bet for taking your dog. The ones in leisure centres are usually not dog friendly and it's the same with schools. However this is no guarantee as sometimes we leave our dog home only to find other people have brought a dog with them! As I say it's best to ring the club beforehand. All the best Rick.
@@wellchuffedrailways wow i should have gone specsavers it did look like a class 50 did you see my engines i posted on your page i just got the duchess of sutherland class 6233 .

And as the producer of 'Bottom Hole' 🚂🚽, it was very nice to hear Pauline say it was a favourite part of the show. Thank you very much.

Sandling Junction was also at Wirksworth, where you two and I met in October 2022. I really loved this layout and I'm actually in your video of it.
Hi Clive, yes I actually meant Wirksworth now you've reminded me. Hope to see you there this year. All the best Rick
Hi Rick/Pauline Another good video , glad you didn't put me in it, I have a face for radio, lol. Thanks for the N gauge selection. See you next time.

Thank you seabury town is my layout so glad all of you like it it’s available to take to any shows
Acute shortage of mainline to choose from for me! Well impressed with the tiny railways and other animations, not often seen on O gauge.
Hi Tim, yes that was a bit strange I was worried you had got there first. 😂😂Cheers Rick
