Fun fact: the reason the key switch on all modern and some older porshes is on the left side is because it is called a le man start. History on it, back in the early 60's Porshe joined Le mans, backthen le man had a running start, where the drivers ran from one side of the track to the cars on the others side, so to save a couple of milliseconds Porsche innovated the Le man start. That's why most Porsches have the key on the left hand side of the car.
