    The 2024 i have in manual has the eyesight feature and the turn signal stock is normal that holds when you use it. They changed it for 2024. Update it doesn’t hold like a rav4 stock. It is different.

    Guy reviews a cheap rwd sports car and complains about the lack of non adaptive cruise. Funny

      Its weird I always hear people saying it has no Adp C but mine does lol and not gonna lie my man you seem biased AF lol
      The gr86 cost more because the way its built. unlick the sub all the weight is in the back and its more stiff if for racing driving while sub is more daily drive

    Not a very good review. All he did was complain about the car.

      I just think it is expensive for a "cheap" small spots car. The Subaru BRZ is better value.

      It is not expensive compared to most cars out on the market. This is one of the cheapest cars that you can buy today and for being a cheaper car it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that a lot of expensive cars have, but you don’t buy it for the all the bells and whistles you buy it for the fun of the driving.

    It's a very pure "old" style car, which no fancy interior, the engine is NA, but the main point of this car is driver focus to enjoy the purest car driving exprience on road. it's fun to drive with, But at this price point we could choose some more confortable and nicer family car. But this is build for car enthusiest

      Oh totally. It’s really not designed to be a daily driver. It’s a second car for the track and twisty country roads. Thanks for watching!

    Both are good. I lean towards the GR86 because it holds a higher value, according to Redbook.

    Can agree about it being easier to stall. I learned manual on a gr86 and it really got better after the spring was replaced with an MTEC. The heavier factory spring requires more muscle to control smoothly with the bite point being near the top of the pedal.

      I’m sure if I had the car for longer I would get used to it, but straight out of the dealership it is a bit tricky. Thanks for watching!

    Toyota for reliability
    Subaru for affordability

      I think the gr86 looks a lot better in this 2nd gen. Brz looked best gen 1. But they’re the same car, have some issues but generally reliable if maintained and not boosted/constantly beaten on.

    In Germany the Subaru versions are the more expensive ones than Toyota

    • @4wheelsandaseat
      @4wheelsandaseat  9 місяців тому

      Interesting. I wonder why that is?

    • @arcelivez
      @arcelivez 9 місяців тому

      @@4wheelsandaseat To be honest I've been following this a bit and I have a pretty good idea why... Both cars are very similar value and cost similarly if we maybe exclude some marketing costs. But in the case of Germany - Toyota had announced very early that they would be coming, Subaru on the contrary - well it was actually known and thought publicly that there will be no Subaru BRZ coming to Germany at all. Then the cars (GR86) were selling (or at least the orders) like cup cakes, while in Europe you have some climate CO2 restrictions which affect that these cars may be sold only in limited numbers. So in a way since there were more orders than seemed to be possible to fulfill for Toyota, Subaru like 1.5 years later announced that the BRZ is coming to Germany after all and opened for orders. Knowing that Toyota was selling so well at the MSRP they directly bumped the MSRP to something higher (because why not? If you're going to be selling a limited amount of cars and you see that they are selling well for Toyota) and there we are. Basically they did it because they announced much later (maybe that was also their strategy all the time to announce late) and they knew the marked better at that time. So basically the prices of these cars around the globe and which one costs more or less is really about demand/supply and which brands are more liked in that country, rather than any actual value in the car parts...

    • @J_S209

      In StralYa, BRZ is several grand less than the Toyota and Auto BRZ more expensive than auto. Toyota sell gears and autos at the same price here.

    Common mate - you test the manual version of this car then complain about city driving. What planet are you on?
    Most other commentators like yourself have taken the manual edition of the GR86 out onto the track.
    Sorry but I just do not understand your logic.

    • @4wheelsandaseat
      @4wheelsandaseat  7 місяців тому +1

      I didn’t specifically request to test a manual, but I do enjoy driving manual cars so I wasn’t going to say no. Not having access to a track meant I could only try it around town and see what it is like as a daily driver and to be honest it’s a lot of work. So maybe my review isn’t valid for you, but I can only do what I can.

      @@moldyrefrigerator i mean I get what you’re saying, in whatever passive aggressive manner you’re approaching me with. I did own a 2013 brz for the past week but carvana said it was a “clean title” but 80% of it had been replaced/repaired so I had to return it. Going to start the process of getting a new gr86 in the coming months. But idk, if you know a thing or two about reliably boosting the engine I’d love to hear.

      @@SkyGardner No he's probably talking about the excess RTV issue and the low oil pressure on turns issue. No boost required to blow these up, they do a fine job by themselves.
