I want to say thankyou for being so encouraging to beginners of all kinds. I have hypermobility and associated chronic pain. I just graduation college and the career I want seemed like it might have become an impossible dream because of my body and the fear I had of the gym and being able to exercise and gain strength without hurting myself. I've only been following along with your videos for the past few days but it's already the most confident I've felt in my ability to actually do something and improve. I can honestly say I cried because of your encouragement. Thankyou for making these videos and making them accessable.
I loved this beginner’s Pilate workout. I love that Jessica talks you through the entire workout and even gives modified versions to help us get through it. I feel rejuvenated and more flexible after this.
I love the workout too, but for me, too much talking, especially as I like to revisit my favourite workouts frequently and the long explanations interfere with the smooth transitions. It would be good to have a version without the additional comments, just the instructions.
Ive been doing your youtube pilates for a few months now and I can feel the benefits now. I can move easier into positions that I couldn't do before and my belly is getting flatter and firmer. I'm just new here. I'm in my 50's. I'm trying to do the best for my health. Last year, I changed my patterns from nutrition, exercises, and sleeping patterns. I have been trying to do pilates for a long time now. I feel frustrated because it seems so difficult to me to do some of the exercises. I do Dumbells, resistance, and Cardio weekly. I used to be really active, yoga rowing and weights every other day for at least an hour. Then a few years ago started to experience a lot of pain and dislocations, was then diagnosed with EDS. I was told to stop doing pretty much any of my normal exercises until they figured out how fast I was deteriorating and how much my heart was affected (I developed tachycardia). All I was left with was walking my dog on days where the pain wasn't too bad. Finally got on the right medication and pain control, but my body has seized up from the lack of movement and pain. I've started doing this workout everyday before I take my dog on a walk to hopefully get my body comfortable moving again. I know I won't ever go back to what my body was like before the symptoms really hit, but happy I have access to something that I can do to get me back to a place where I'm happy again, even if it's going to be a long and slow journey

Awesome like always. I love how Jessica comes back to beginners sessions. I´ve just done this today after years as lately I´ve lost a lot of mobility and i wake up stiff in the mornings with a lower back pain. I´ve always been practising sports and never have had any issues, as i kept myself fit and always stretched. But now I´m 45 and my exercise is not as often as it used to be and i forget to stretch. I believe practising this pilates will help me get my mobility and strength back to keep doing every sport I do and stay fit. Thanks thanks thanks . I can´t wait to keep adding more of these !!

Im a beginner 5ft 3 woman at 170lbs. Ive been trying to find something i will stick with and i want to say thank you for these videos. Im on week 3 and i try to do atleast 15 minutes 3 days a week and ive stuck to it! Sometimes i do more than 15 minutes or more days. I really enjoy palates. Ive never really worked out before but this i actually enjoy its something i look forward to! In just 3 weeks my abs feel stronger and i can feel my muscles flex more when gardening! Im excited about exercise and your part of the reason! Thank you!

This was great, I've been doing another of your Pilates beginners workouts for a few days now and I'm so glad I found you. I can't wait for the day I'm able to do everything! I currently have to do this in my bed but that doesn't stop me! I now looking forward to getting up and doing these workouts in the morning :)

I love love love doing your Pilates workouts! They’re helping me get back into shape after a looong break from strength training, my favourite part is bringing the leg to one side and the head to the other, cracks bones I didn’t even know I had lol! Thanks a ton
