How to Easily Draw Eyes | Understanding the Asaro Method Part I

- This one is going to be a slow #drawingtutorial for the eyes. I am going to take you through three different reference photos and show you how you can begin to draw the eyes using the Asaro method. Asaro gained fame in portrait art due to his ability to break down the human form into simple-to-understand planes. Once you understand the planes of the eyes the rest is fairly easy. I hope this one helps you! #drawingforbeginners.

Any tips for placing the first plane? The second lines up with the temple and the third with the corner of the eye but I didn’t understand how to place the first one after you connect the tear duct to the nose bridge

Absolutely, the Asaro method works extremely well for that.
Where can I buy the Loomis head model that I see behind you?
That’s not the Loomis model, that’s the Asaro model. I’ll see if I can provide a product link. I should be able to do this for you later on this evening.

How to draw without a picture reference. Pls help
I would say try and draw with the same approach. You can start to draw any character with this method. You don’t need a reference to follow principles. Let me know if it works for you.
