Everyone on F1 recognizes him as a future world champion in waiting, that's why.
Man, that shot of Checo with the fireworks going off behind him is just such an awesome sight. Beautifully lit shot with great framing to capture a truly historic moment in Mexican motorsport.

I think we can call this season a classic, because of everything that happened. From 1st time podiums by Lando, Albon and Ocon, to Surprise results from Stroll Pole and Perez and Gasly wins. Not forgetting Seb's Podium and George's bittersweet first F1 points to Max's 2 dominant wins. Hulk came back and smashed, Sir Lewis Hamilton was inevitable as usual and Ricciardo and Sainz showed that they are exceptional talents as they move on to their new teams.
Oh my goodness.... 2020 might have been a curse on us, but this season gave us some of the finest races and moments to cherish..... I literally cried in joy when Checo took the chequered flag........

RP vs Mclaren was basically like the hair vs the tortoise: RP was fast but they had many problems throughout the season Mclaren wasn’t as fast, but the consistency paid off in the end
Hamilton winning on three wheels was utter madness. Incredible tire management - you can hear the usual cool and collected Bono’s voice get a bit concerned.

As a die-hard F1 fan, this was probably the craziest season I've seen since 2012... amazing, from Norris' podium and joy when Gasly won to missing some heart beats after I saw that Haas in Bahrain to some tears at the Sakhir GP ... a rollercoaster of a season, and my oh my, I loved it!
Grosjean story is enough to make grown man cry. His sad story with Haas, massive crash and eventual retirement. But coming back to compete in Indy and smashed the result there. Grosjean, you earned my utmost respect.
Honestly, the moment of the season should be Grosjean walking out of that scary crash at Bahrain.... It just shows how much safety standards have improved in F1
Every race this season had incredible stories as a fan this season was worth every moment watching and a season to be watched live present at the track would've been a fans' greatest pleasure.
I'm extremely happy for Gasly, well deserved. Also.. imagine if Albon never gets a seat in the future and therefore, never gets an F1 win. No one ever knows what the future holds, especially if you persevere and keep working hard and believe in yourself.
The editing on the 2 Sakhir grand prix highlight reels was masterful. The music choice was perfect and the pics and vids were all so beautiful I had a lump in my throat. Goddamit I love F1.
i only now realized the only race where seb scored his (final) podium with ferrari was the one where lewis took the 7th crown. him congratulating lewis' win makes so much more sense to me now

This season was absolutely crazy, an absolute roller coaster ride of a season. It’s been so difficult for everyone but overall it’s been amazing and I’ve loved it. Happy new year lads
I got the chills listening to Gasly post win radio, and then I rolled my eyes hearing Lance talk about how he nailed his pole lap. I wonder how I would react if I had no background on those two. I don''t think I've seen the shot of Romain still in the car while the flames engulfed him. I know that's what happened but never saw the video slowed down. Amazing.
To me Pierre winning was the highlight of the season. The post win radio always give me goosebumps and make me tear a little. Just a lovely motorsports moment
Crazy how 2020, a year full of uncertanties and fears, could produce one of the best seasons I can remember since started following F1. Hamilton's path to glory, new winners, cinematic accident and comeback, Perez finale... Such a great season!

He got up in the second rowby his talent and by lap 1 both Norris and Sainz were in p2 and p3 battling with Hamilton coz the McLaren was the fastest car in Monza! That restart made Sainz's position lost so was Norris's. But Hamilton's mistake gave him P2. And we're all happy about it!
This season also showed how the media can destroy and crush a driver. Makes me think how proud they are at doing that job. Still the bantering goes on and on.

Tbh i think that its the greatest season by a single driver so far. Its not because of overall stats, even tho he won 11 wins and won 5 in a row and shouldve won 14 with 7 in a row. But this was the season that made him the GOAT in my book. Equaling and beating the great Michael Schumacher.

After Bottas said in Monza that he had always escaped the shoey, I noticed for the first time that at 8:25 he literally stands away from the celebrations to not have to do it...
This season was really crazy. Unique and stunning. Even behind the track, emotion and dramatic. It was not started yet when action begins, and finished by mid December... Amazing.
