We shouldn't look at this season and think that the title was decided on the last race by controversy. Every race was intense and special, every race changed the direction of championship fight. There were many races that would be controversial if they would be the last ones where we would argue whether Max, Lewis or stewards made the right decisions. It felt like the universe hadn't decided until the last moment. Even then Max overtaking Lewis on the last lap of the last race was on the edge, because of Max leg cramp. seeing the fight back between Max and Hamilton in Bahrein, Max was clearly ahead mid corner and he still had to give the position back, due to 4 wheels outside the white line, very very weird
Well tbh I saw the onboards during quali and he was absolutely on the limit man, as a Lewis fan i was like please don't crash cause he was inch perfect everywhere until ofc he crashed. But that lap gave me goosebumps. Say what you want max is top tier legend in the making.
Watching this video, you should know that Verstappen deserves his title after all the bad luck he had and terrible decisions made against him this season
i just realised, that the incident that caused max to give hamilton the position in Jeddah, is the EXACT same as hamilton in abu dhabi. But somehow hamilton was allowed to continue
19:43 Yes. If not, then you shouldn't be allowed to pit under SC, VSC, yellow flags either. You shouldn't be allowed to pit for wets, or to pit for dries after it dries up. All of the above give a driver an unfair advantage over the others, if the others didn't do that. But in reality there is no advantage because everyone can do that, which is why Perez switched right back to medium, because he completed 1 lap on a different compound and thus satisfying the tyre reqs for the race.
@@RogerKeulen It was won during the season, not at the last race. For example in Spain, Lewis had the better tire strategy, just like Max in France, but I kinda get what you mean
Wow Perez winning at Baku for the first time with Red Bull was so poetic and amazingly deserved. A track he’s done so well at and finally was able to win it in a winning car. I really hope to see him catch up with everybody else next season cuz it’s really hard not to love the guy.

19:55 I like that they can change tyres during a red flag. Turns up the heat & competition, clears a mistake if it’s been made, and gives us fans more racing & more to argue about. Teams that don’t like it are 100% allowed to play the moral game and keep their tyres on, then throw their hands up and complain later. 22:03 IT’S A RACE! JUST PASS HIM, WHO CARES WHY? Senna’s quote.
Im pretty sure lewis said that not because max would be able to change his tyres but because the fia conveniently got the red flag out only after the mercs pitted behind the sc which put verstappen comfortably in the lead and got bottas stuck in the midfield.
Teams and drivers only dislike it when it does not benefit them. Britain GP 2021, Hamilton benefitted from the red flag allowing the team change tyres AND to repair damage. Did not see him question it or complain about it then. As soon as it doesn't benefit him, he complains. As most other drivers do as well.

For real! Lewis messed up an crashed himself and got a free wing change. I thought it was just me that thought brundle was a Lewis fanboy. Seems to badmouth max a lot more. Most funny is that some powers don't let fia change the regulations assisting him in winning more poles and races as possible.

And I didn't see Lewis complaining about the rule in Imola, when it benefited him... What goes around comes around, he should know by now🤣
Im pretty sure lewis said that not because max would be able to change his tyres but because the fia conveniently got the red flag out only after the mercs pitted behind the sc which put verstappen comfortably in the lead and got bottas stuck in the midfield.
Teams and drivers only dislike it when it does not benefit them.
