Dam, that's a beautiful bike, my favorite out of all the ones you showed. I'm a Sportser fanatic & am drooling all the way from Philadelphia,Pa. USA, nice ride & review!
looks awesome though, and just go to prove that you can have looks and functionality... I've heard so many stories on the owners clubs dissuading others from going larger on the rear because it'll "ruin" the handling but this shows that isn't true 👍 now if only I could afford to do this to my sportster! 😆
3k miles into my 1200 sporster and I find these beast shake, rattle, then break parts (just fasteners) off. However the endless parts to choose from this is not a problem. I want to do the tyre conversion at some point probably when I change the sporkets to get a better top speed at lower rpm.
That why I bought my Sportster... I've had a dozen bikes and my experience is that metric bikes from the 80's and older are extremely reliable... However when parts finally fail they are usually obsolete or to expensive. So my 1200 has been ridiculous good at breaking parts or losing them from vibration. However parts are cheap and plentiful. Keeping me on the road. 👍
Awesome bike, yea as said earlier, bar risers. Also better taller shocks and one more thing, you UK'ers really love those V&H pipes 😆, but I really love Bassani, rinehart racing and Thunderheader
Tick tick tick tick BOOM!!! For a second I thought that was the FXBB with that front light, even though it says Sportster in the title! Looks great, so glad it handles well! Nice vid...keep um comin ;)
How i can relocate the speedo at the same part of the engine that you have? Can you please send me list of necessary products of this speedo relocation kit
Gonna be going crotch rockets and Japanese or lower displacement cruiser bikes from Europe for first couple bikes probably just till I can afford insurance on displacement of a harley motor. For my first real bike I want. Custom soft tail hidden rear shock but don't care about the pivots being hidden. Been trying to decide on rear tire sizes. Been thinking of using some sports bike parts for the bobber and chopper vibes. Sport bike rims can get really light. And there's a really nice tire used on Ducati sports bikes that comes 204 and 240 so thinking those for size. Chain drive set up for looks. But building for reliability and ridability so if need be a belt. Rolling thunder frame since I believe they are aluminium. Soft tail plus 2 inch springs on the seat pan. Was thinking Springer forks but might go telescopic for traction. Knuckle head motor if it'll make the power I want. Reproduction by s&s. Stretch goal for power and such is 140 ish hp minimum with a redline around 7500. But stretch goal 130 tq at 2200 rpms flat or flat as possible to 7000 for 170 hp roughly. 6 speed transmission. Probably a sportster tank or maybe a similar tank. But similar vibes but bobbed and chopper without being raked out. Kinda 50s vibes so shoulder height ape hangers. Wanna rubber mount the engine. Trying to have a bobber esque bike I can go for long rides. But also wanna do a hardtail but thinking whatever motor I can get to sound right cheap. Maybe a crotch rocket. Possible a cheap harley motor. Want a Ducati as my crotch rocket eventually and a Cafe racer type bike of some sort. But bobber with a trailer and some leather bags is gonna be for touring. Basically a Mish mash of Harleys and custom bits with some victory 8 ball or hi ball or whatever it's called vibes. But the rake on the sportster is nice.
Bike looks awesome👍 I actually considered a larger rear or 240 on my Fat Bob 2018. Dealership advised against it.🤔 Best quote has to be “I love big fat things on my rear” 😂😂😂😂
Anyone here rides or knows anyone that rides a sportster 1200 whether it’s the forty eight or the roadster restricted to 35kw ‘ UK’s A2 license requirements’?? Harley dealers won’t restrict one for test rides and I’m not willing to buy a bike without test riding it first. Harley’s are heavy bikes and not exactly the fastest either so I wanna know whether restricting the bike will make a huge difference. I’m also looking to ride 2 up every so often. If anyone knows anything let me know please...
Alright mate, I do enjoy your vids and your gonna hate me for this but not really into the harley scene, however I do love the look of this!! it's f#$ing sick.
That is an Interesting concept, a little monster :) although is not my cup of coffee I will give my applause to engineers . I will agree with the head light , I hope that the daymaker will be a new standard as current is not practical on UK roads especially when riding from town to town. Keep up a good work , Peace !
You guys need to put these bikes on the track. Here, there's too much traffic and you can't really ride fast and do the real stuff. Over here, you'd be going 70 m.p.h. or you'd get ran over. Put them on a track and boogie. If I had that bike, I'd put buckhorn bars on it and rear controls or straight down from the seat.

Jim Mansi nice thanks 🙏🏻
That rear tire is a beast! Looks great and is surprising that it still handles so well.
The Viking Biker totally surprised me if I’m honest.

Hi, who selling the conversion tire 240 kit? or is your own job?..great bike
can you upload a video with upgrading tires and rims please the bike looks perfect
Love that look. Always a fan of fat tyre bikes. I think a 240 Sportster '48 and a 300 VRod are right up there for dream bikes for me.
Where to buy that 17 litre tank?
How much weirder did Rick go on the swing arm to fit the 240
Those indicators!?! 😍
Sweet bike man , what did the tank come off of . An fxdr would look good on that bike

Hey where can I get that tank? Googled the info in bio and I couldn’t find it. Thanks!
Love this bike! I'm sold on getting a Sporty as a first bike. Customization options seem endless!

your problem with the "bars, keep them but throw some risers on for height? Keeps the look...
otherwise pretty tasty.

Shaw Harley are pumping out some crazy bikes. Can you show us some Buell bikes? Would love to see some of their custom work.
BOMBER all they have left from Buell is the signage you see
Tick tick tick tick BOOM!!! For a second I thought that was the FXBB with that front light, even though it says Sportster in the title! Looks great, so glad it handles well! Nice vid...keep um comin ;)

What is involved in doing then 240 rear conversion?
what is the stock bike engine ? sounds really good
wewe ăe 1200
How hard was the full conversion?
I wanna swap my stock 883 Hugger 2000 for a 240, just having a time finding the right kit and someone who can do it.
I had a 797 on mine
Love that tank. Is it an aftermarket one or taken from a different Sportster model?
Where is the rear fender from please?

Just a question mate, what was the intro song you used, sounded pretty sick :p.
Keep the same ....but put them on a 4" raisers
Michael Gibbons we may have a plan....
4:05 is hysterical LOL
240 sections feel and look great, kill the bank balance tho every 3,700 miles when you need to fork out £200 to slap new rubber on the rear lol
David MacFarlane Day true that! Rubbers expensive.
What a beauty.
that is a beauty.

The green wheels looks IDIOTIC, paint it over IN SATIN BLACK so it at least looks like a man drives it!
Super boring
