    Good info, in my experience finding the right bars is the most difficult upgrade on any bike since it can vary so much per individual. I have spent some time replacing bars only to find I hated them when I finished the install. Do you have mock up's in Canoga Park people can try one for size? Maybe even Lance or Gaylen's bikes if there around :-). I am down in OC.

    Amazing video guys, I personally have the mid bend bars along with 8inch bung king risers, with 2 inches of pullback, I'm a shorter guy at 5'6". I really wish you guys made some 8 inch pullback risers because the 9.5 with the mid bend bars might of been too tall for my short ass arms lol plus I didn't know if 1.5" would be enough pullback for my height. First time I was picking out bar/riser combos and most videos online don't help because everyone is taller than me lmao.

    I must add, width will change your degrees based on the angle of you elbows. Though this is a GREAT first step I’d encourage marking the width of your hand placement.

    • @srfsno_
      @srfsno_ 2 роки тому

      I also marked off two points on my tape. One for 30.5in bars and one for 34.5in bars and noticed that if I keep my elbows in the same place (slight bend in my elbows) and draw my hands in to 30.5 from 34.5 my sweep angle decreases. This was important for me to know, since too much sweep hurts the outside part of my wrist. I currently run a wider bar that has 24 degree of sweep and it works fine, but I believe it is going to magnify my wrist issue as I go to a shorter bar. I'm no engineer, but I think it was good to find this out as I am looking at the Thrashin "aggressive mid bend" at 5 degree of sweep which should work great. I'm fortunate in that I have another dirt bike with 31.5in protaper (factory suzuki/ktm bend) contour bars with very little sweep and it works fine.
