Cow Moose in Heat Drives the Bulls Crazy

It is a blustery Alaskan day, but the weather is not bad enough to cool down the rut. A large bull moose has two cows, in his harem, who are in heat and the satellite bulls descend upon him from every direction.

I seen a bull in some spruce trees a mile away and told my buddy to call. He did and I couldn’t believe how fast he travelled to get to us. One minute later he grunted and it sounded like right next to me. Amazing

Living up here in Alberta I've take a number of nice bulls by calling them to me. Nothing better than calling in a moose who can't find the cow; drives them nuts. Love talk that bull and he will find ya. Sneaky and quiet for their size and you wonder. how did he get here with out me hearing him?

They can be amazing quiet. That said, nothing like an enraged 1000 pound animal coming in on a string grunting the whole way.😳

Very impressive footage. If one could silence the dreaded camera sound. It takes away the sounds of nature and make it look like a tourist trap location. Well done on the closeness you got to the animals
