- This performance kind of passed me by and before I noticed it was over. The beat and the vocals had me entranced. Again, this was very pure in the way that it was focused on the vocal quality without any added electronic elements that I've noticed in a lot of other songs. All of them were simply stunning, but I was particularly drawn in by Jungkook in this performance. I think it was a kind of relaxed but sensual quality that I've noticed and his voice just sounded incredible. All of their voiced did, to be fair... 😅

Just stunning....JK does this type of sound so well.

Jk is the best main vocalist ever.
Everyone's passion is felt here, but my weakness is Jimin's voice, I love that medium tone of Jimin and that feeling his breath when singing gives him a sexy touch is his unique hallmark he can achieve so many things with his voice, He can be sweet and angelic as well as powerful and his high notes again insane, imagine if he had had the proper vocal training before his debut like the rest of the guys !! It gives more credit to her delicious voice. ahh I love this song, thanks for a new reaction.

Jungkook has one of the best voice for me .....it's a shame that people don't appreciate it enough like he has it all emotions , precision , soul , expressiveness , technique and skill .
It's hard to find a gem like him .
I agree some vocalist are thriving because of their vocal color and unique tone but he's different he's unique . I hope moving on people will come to realise what they are missing and appreciate him a lot .

They nailed this performance. From V's and Jin's soft, calm beautiful vocals to JK's and Jimin's harmonising (3:06, I had the exact same reaction first time I heard it 😄), utilising their particular voices for the more intense, emotional parts of the song.
But Jimin, omg, the passion in his voice, the high notes and then going low towards the end.... just WOW!
This song sends shivers down my spine but in a good way.
Oh, yeah I just realize that this song is from HYYH, ‘The most beautiful moment in life’ era. All the songs in that era will relate to struggles, dreams, and any aspects in our teenager’s time which is one of our changing and vulnerable moment in life for sure💜💜💜

a performance that leaves you spechless and not knowing what to think for about 10 minutes!!! stunning
This songs belongs in a Bond movie OST :) it's one of the few tracks not written by the boys themselves, the songwriters credited are Slow Rabbit, Brother Su, and Hitman Bang (the CEO of BigHit himself). Judging by the sound, id say the melody is by Slow Rabbit, he's one of the BigHit inhouse producers and hs been with the boys for ages, the songs with his participation are often more on a melodic side, with piano and strings in the mix :)

This song is one of their best ever. The whole feel of this song is like no other. I would say it is probably my favourite song of theirs ever.

I love this song so much ! . The lyrics, the "jazzy vibes", and the passion the vocal line put on it, specially in this live performance. It's amazing how they can harmonized their voices, without lost their singularity and personal tone. I specially love JK's voice and ad lib here. And of course, Jimin's voice always touch me deep inside. You should react to "Let me know", the live perf in a song for you 2014": it's hypnotic and Jimin's high note at the end is crazy ! And I just discover Lowder than bomb since few weeks, it's also a beautifull song (but I don't find a live version, not even an official MV. Maybe there's not, because MOTS 7 release during the pandemic, but if some MV exist, please Army, give me the link ! )

Your reaction was a nice surprise, I didn't expect it today 🙂 I love this song, the very different sound of the arrangement, the whole mood and vibe of the performance, and the way they tell the story through the song. They all sounded great, though I agree, Jungkook really stands out with his adlibs and harmonizing in general but here he's on another level!
Live performances like these make me wish I had found out about BTS way sooner, I would have loved to go to one of their shows! Of course I still would love to when it's safe again, but with how huge they are and how unlucky I am I really can't be sure I'll ever get to, lol, they do it all, I mean, from high energy songs with choreo, then you have rapline, vocal line, subunits, solos, wow, like several concerts in one and all high quality! At least I have UA-cam, haha 😂

Vocals, yes perfect beautiful astounding passionate, but what I really want? all that continuing in the background while the camera focuses on Seokjin's face. Normally I don't like mentally sticking any of them in a pretty boy box but sometimes one of them just grabs you visually. For this performance, for me, it's Jin.

See, when it comes to songs like this, House of Cards, Truth Untold, Magic Shop, Make It Right, etc., I always seem to prefer V's and Jin's vocals because they pack one HELL of an emotional punch. They both have such clarity and resonance in such different ways. There's also this breathy but crystal clear aspect to their voices. Truly. Whenever their parts come on, my chest gets tight.

Since the harmonizing and high notes are some of the parts that stood out for you in this one, let me recommend their debut song No More Dream. It's the BABIEST of Baby BTS, but also quite musically impressive, and lyrics I know you'll enjoy reading through.
In terms of songs that are more similar to House of Cards, Butterfly (which you heard in the Prologue), Let Me Know, Just One Day, and Autumn Leaves are all great songs. For some of my favourite underrated/less-talked-about songs, Sea (you'll have a lot of fun with the lyrics here), 2nd Grade, Ma City, Paldogangsan/Satoori Rap.
Then Spine Breaker is popular with VERY good reason (even if half that reason is the home-movie MV), Am I Wrong has a great beat and lyrics (they all have great lyrics but you know what I mean), and you NEED to listen to The Last (one of several ridiculously poignant tracks from Suga's solo work as Agust D) at some point.
