Alot of new Japanese pressings are just import lp's with a Japan obi attached and not actually pressed in Japan. The Sony plant in Japan is actually pressing lp's in Japan.

Love Vintage Japanese Pressings, super quiet vinyl, and crystal clear sound.
The Audiophile Fools crap on them, don't listen to these Elitist ass's.
The Japanese took very good care of their collections, so if you buy vintage records from Japan they are likely to be near mint.
I've have over 500 vintage Japan pressings, love them all.

Original "Iron Maiden" Japanese pressings are better than the Uk and North American pressings. Especially " The Number of the Beast" Not only does it sound better, but you get extra track and poster too.
