The Sopranos is also such a nuanced show that capitalized on great acting, writing, and slow buildups in both Tony's family life and his mob family drama. A movie adaptation just seems wrong by principle. They should leave the show and it's legacy alone since people like Minimme and myself are proof that it is still just as fantastic and engaging as when it came out.

Many absurd and funny things may happen, but it isn't poking fun at other, similar crime stories. I bought & played this. I got to the part where I became a 'made guy' & thought "here we go, this game should get more interesting now" only to discover that was actually the end of tge game. LOL It took me only a few hours to complete it, I felt very shortchanged. If you want a good mob game that gives you your money's worth in gameplay then The Godfather game was a lot better.
i beat this game on a rental back in the day and honestly i really liked it but i am a huge fan of The Sopranos, gabagool,and 3D Beat Em Ups (Final Fight Streetwise and Beatdown Fists Of Vengeance are two of the best games of all time imo) and the amount of detail that they went into in the actual sets and things from the show was great to see as a fan

I bought this game a few days ago on my nostalgia kick or replaying old titles I never played, especially after recently watching the entire sopranos series it feels like a fun little interactive storyline. Yes it has its flaws, and the combat takes a lot of getting used to (avoid shooting at all costs and always go straight for weapon pickups) but all in all I’m having a blast playing it in 2023

In my version of a Sopranos video game, I would’ve hired the writers of Assassin’s Creed II and Sly 2: Band of Thieves; both writing teams created charming and brutal characters; both games as well payed respects to the atmospheres of the game with cool environments and places to explore. Gameplay-wise, would’ve hired the game directors of Scarface: The World is Yours, Grand Theft Auto IV, Bully, The Warriors and Sleeping Dogs as producers, terrific fighting sequences, rag doll physics, driving mechanics, etc. Leslie Benzies would be the game director since he was involved with every GTA since GTA 3 up until GTA 5. In a perfect world, I would use Criterion Games’ old RenderWare engine and MotionScan (technology used for the facial animation of L.A. Noire, later to be enhanced to include body animation with the cancelled Whore of the Orient).
