Regarding the sidewalks, I think they're supposed to be an area separate from the roads that cars can hang out on. Imagine this scenario: Mater: Hey, McQueen! I’ll meet ya in front of that there Chrysler building! McQueen: Haha! Okay Mater! So, how does Mater accomplish this? Does he stand in the middle of a busy street in a metropolitan area and block traffic, or does he “stand” on an elevated surface designed to differentiate itself from the road? Cars can fit on a sidewalk most of the time, and they can also be driven onto. They aren’t just made for pedestrians to get around, they are also designed to keep people out of the streets.
Theres a theory about the cars universe. It's basically a future after humans have somehow gone extinct but before they did, they figured out a way to make cars and other vehicles sentient and have brains and shit. Its actually quite an interesting theory, and it explains some of the things that wouldn't logically make sense in a Cars universe otherwise
The twist where Bond knows that Joss Stone is a traitor is so hack that I almost respect it. There's no real foreshadowing or explanation, but Bond still figures it out. How? He's Bond. Fuck you. I love it.
Actually, in the Burma level, there's an enemy who's using a laptop right after Bond escapes the prison. If he dispatches the nearby enemies and scans the laptop with the smartphone, it reveals that Nicole Hunter is actually working with the enemies. So that's technically how he ends up finding out about it.

Just a recommendation: Speed Racer-The Videogame. Given that you clearly enjoy driving games, this one is... graphically impressive, especially the Wii version, although the PS2 version has a little bit more content. Either way, it is a pretty good game and those who played it, like me, remember it fondly.
I've tried this game on Wii last week and thought it was a bit bland. It seems that the races come down mostly to taking out your opponents since the driving is so simple.
Indeed. I got my hands in a copy recently and I didn’t stopped until I finished it. It’s a really good game, with some additional dialogues and more information about Rak in Switzerland. Also the final dialogue between Bond and Nicole is a way lot better than the main console version.

Interestingly, rumours leading up to Blood Stone's official announcement constantly stated that this Bizarre Creations title would be a driving / racing 007 game (similar to the very poor 007 Racing on the PS1). Given their background in racing titles, this would make sense, and could explain why Blood Stone's racing segments are a highlight to an otherwise pretty generic 3rd person shooter.
I think you've mentioned this game before in a video briefly but I would love to see your review on 2009s "Wheelman" with Vin Diesel being the main character. It came out for the PS3 and Xbox 360. I only ever played the demo.
That one is a guilty pleasure of mine. Most aspects about it suck, but the actual driving controls and features, as well as the upgrade tie-ins, are surprisingly fun to experience, and put some other vehicle-based games to shame.
Hey Minimme, you should take a look at some of the Sims games on the consoles. O have oddly strong memories of The Sims 1 on the original Xbox, where you did like missions and it was kinda you controlling one person I think? There's also The Sims 2 (there was apparently like a story based one on the PSP), The Urbz in the City and the ones on the DS. I'd also say you should check out some of the really mediocre/odd late Xbox originals around 2005/2006 when the Xbox 360 came out. Stuff like Project Dark Zero, Total Overdose, Mashed, The Outfit, just these complete bizarro games that came out and no one ever saw again
I would like you to cover The Italian Job video games, as there were two released; one was based on the original 1969 film and developed by Pixelogic and published by Rockstar Games, and the other was based on the 2003 remake, developed by Climax Brighton and published by Eidos Interactive.
I remember playing this game over and over again. I also remember it looking good for its time and still does I guess. I might try and install it again, it was a fun game and a fun story, very 007. Wish we got more from the creators. I remember getting this and Batman: Arkham Asylum, couldn't complete Arkham (Until about a week ago) but I fell in love with Bloodstone.
Bond knows about Nicole because when Rak is hanging from the scaffolding he notices he's wearing one of her watches - or a fancy watch at least. The connection is tenuous at best, but that's how he works it out. He sends the knife to her to essentially say "I know B, what you gonna do about it?"
15:41 Fun fact, “Risico” is one of the few original Ian Fleming Bond titles that hasn’t been used for an official movie, others being “The Hildebrand Rarity” and “007 in New York” EDIT: Oh never mind, you actually said that lol
Fun fact about that plane: it's actually real. It's called " Корабль-макет" or "ship prototype". Most people know it as the Caspian Sea Monster, though. It's a giant seaplane that never truly "flew". Very low altitude, it's more like a ship than an aircraft(hence the name). It's also called prototype because it got canned like a lot of crazy projects in the USSR back in the day. There's some old prototypes still around on the Caspian shorelines, but most of them have been disassembled.

The reason that there are sidewalks in Cars is that it takes place after the apocalypse where people have died off and what is left are the cities that they made and the AI cars that still roam them.
Oh maaannn finallyyyyy!!! I've been waiting so long for this; brings back memories and surprisingly, exactly how i remember it. Looking forward to the last 2 game reviews.
The rumors of the 2009 to 2010 delay for Blood Stone were likely true, as Blood Stone was at one point planned to have a Wii port that was being developed by SuperVillain Studios that got cancelled due to this delay. To quote an SVS developer: "We were working on the Wii version of a major film license (although this particular game was not tied directly to the films). We were really happy with the work we had done, and it was looking amazingly good for a game that was tasked with mimicking high-end photo-real 360/PS3 visuals as best as the machine could. Unfortunately, there were major delays on the 360/PS3 version and the big bucks dictate that money is best spent focusing on those consoles with this type of game (3rd person cover/action shooter, think Gears of War-type gameplay). So the Wii version was eventually canceled. It happens quite a lot behind the scenes, especially these days with publishers being super careful with their money in the down economy. There are a ton of games that don't see the light of day." I originally thought this Wii port the developer was referring to was for another game (that game being Transformers: War for Cybertron) however after searching for some time i found out it was for Blood Stone instead, heck i was even able to find a couple of screenshots of the Istanbul level. Also speaking of War for Cybertron, are you gonna do a review on that game?
I'm sure it's mentioned elsewhere but the DS version of Bloodstone seems right up your alley. I'd be very interested in a review of it. I can't believe it exists.

You should definitely check out the DS version of this game. I remember playing it a lot as a kid, it was nuts
I loved this game. Sucks that we'll never get a sequel
Can the enjoyment curve graph please return in every video? That was beautiful
You and Colourshed are great and seem to work on a similar schedule so there's always two reviews I can look forward to.
7:57 That's an Ekranoplan which is pretty rare in video games with the only appearances being in this game and World in Conflict Soviet Assault.
Great video. Great editing. Absolutely loved that graph part of the vid.
Bond knows about Nicole because when Rak is hanging from the scaffolding he notices he's wearing one of her watches - or a fancy watch at least. The connection is tenuous at best, but that's how he works it out. He sends the knife to her to essentially say "I know B, what you gonna do about it?"
15:41 Fun fact, “Risico” is one of the few original Ian Fleming Bond titles that hasn’t been used for an official movie, others being “The Hildebrand Rarity” and “007 in New York”
EDIT: Oh never mind, you actually said that lol
I don’t know about you but the later Bizarre Creation game Blur is one of my favorite games ever.
The driving in this game reminds me of my all time favourite racing game Motorstorm apocalypse. Mix that with the 3D aspect. My god, soooo good!
His movements on this game were incredibly well done, right down to the craig bond shooting one hand while running
Glad to see my country in the game. Love your vids bro. Keep up the good work.
It's a bummer that this was Bizarre's last game...I absolutely adored The Club and Blur, honestly.
I enjoy your videos more than any other youtuber in this genre.
I think that "ridiculous looking military seaplane" is the ekranoplan, a ground-effects craft

Suggestions can be annoying, so sorry if this has appeared before, but Bioshock apparently had two mobile ports: Bioshock 2d and Bioshock 3d. I was surprised you hadn't reviewed them on your channel.
Great video as always btw
This was one of the only shooters I was allowed to play when I first got my 360 (I was kinda young.) I remember it being very fun.
I played this game for the first time last year and I loved every minute of it.
The reason that there are sidewalks in Cars is that it takes place after the apocalypse where people have died off and what is left are the cities that they made and the AI cars that still roam them.
The cars are evolved from bugs. MattPat. someone that annoying must be... something.
This channel is filling such a weird niche that I'm always interested in. Thanks mininimiememie
I loved the graphs at the end! A funny way to convey your point!
Oh maaannn finallyyyyy!!!
I've been waiting so long for this; brings back memories and surprisingly, exactly how i remember it.
Looking forward to the last 2 game reviews.
hello, the subtitles are completely borked its overlaying one line on top of the other instead of them being together on just 1 talk bubble.
Glad i'm not the one who saw that, i hope he will fix this
All of Bond's non-tux outfits make him look like Tom Hanks.
There are a ton of games that don't see the light of day."
I originally thought this Wii port the developer was referring to was for another game (that game being Transformers: War for Cybertron) however after searching for some time i found out it was for Blood Stone instead, heck i was even able to find a couple of screenshots of the Istanbul level.
Also speaking of War for Cybertron, are you gonna do a review on that game?
I was waiting for this video since you upload the Quantum Of Solace's one. Thanks!
I'm sure it's mentioned elsewhere but the DS version of Bloodstone seems right up your alley. I'd be very interested in a review of it. I can't believe it exists.
