Good demonstration 👍. I have a question. Instead of connecting the red wire to the ignition coupler, can I connect to the rear light (not brake light)? because it also turns on when ignition is turned on. So the purpose is also same.
@@ratnadipbiswas9716 yes right, you can give the connection to any 12V. I have connected it to the rear light (not brake light) as it gets ON when when I turn on the ignition. Works perfectly 👍. I did this so as to avoid opening the headlight because it is complicated and time taking.
Sir one doubt, I have a Yamaha Rayzr Bs6 scooter, is it mandatory to use Harness kit to install Fog light connection with my scooter battery? If yes, What is the purpose of Harness kit? In which way it will be helpful to my scooter?
With wiring harness your setup becomes future proof, It has a relay, fuse, good quality wires, hjg couplers etc so you don't need to cut any stock wire. Without wiring harness your local mechanic will connect lights directly to battery or ignition which is not safe for battery and lights.
@@vishalahinave ok sir, but I investigated in a shop for HJG mini driving light, which is 20w + 20w each , shop person said no need of Harness wire kit as that particular light comes with the relay, so am confused and doubt, on how to proceed further sir
Hi bro. First of all thanks for doing such a quality and informative contents. I've a doubt! I'm planning to fix HJG mini fog lights for my R15v3. But the Wiring Harness is more expensive then the lights😢 Literally I can't able to afford for that! And the same time I won't do any alteration in my stock wiring I've an idea for that! But I'm planning for putting fuse on the main line... So which amp fuse will suits for the fog light? And which fuse can I use the normal fuse or the Glass Cartridge fuse? Just imagine what I'm planning for. Will you recommend this or this don't gonna work? And most importantly what amp fuse will comes with the hjg wiring harness?
I think HJG mini is 40W light bro.. In general you can choose fuse rating depending on the max load current. So, I (current) = Power(W) / Voltage(V) --> I (Current) = 40W / 12V = 3.3Amp. You can choose 5Amp fuse for this light.
Hello, non-engineering background person here, Do you have a tutorial video for everything that went here. All i understand is that you kept the stock wiring, i plan on doing the same, please help.

I have hjg y lens Light I got to know that when I use harness kit the light becomes little bit dull in brightness. But when I connect it directly to battery its brightness increases. What is this actually happening? Is it necessary to use harness kit? As the lights are 30 watt each Please reply Please
First of all yes wiring harness is necessary for the long life of your lights and doesn’t voids warranty too. When you connect any light directly to the battery the brightness will be a bit more than any other wiring.
If the bike is not in start. If we use the hjg light on battery, will it drain out all the battery?? Can Using a harness reduce High Power consumption.?
I had bypassed for HJG wiring harness. There will be 4 pins in flasher connector. 3 black and 1 red. I removed the flasher and made a direct connection between all the black wires. The red wire is of no use now, you can put a tape around the end. Now the current flows directly to the light instead of the flasher.

Yes you can
Does the ignition coupler gives a 12V output? I mean the red wire is to be connected to any 12V supply that's on after turning on ignition?

I've did the connection but one side fog lamp is not working. what could be the issue is it relay or wiring?
First of all test the lights separately through battery if it’s working then there is some issue with the harness
@@vishalahinave yes tested lights are fine.
Something is wrong with the harness then

You can bypass the flasher unit to stop the blinking mode. It can be distracting for other drivers.
