You know the talking is good. You are descriptive and clear. So many youtubers just say this is what I am going to do and now poof its done.
Haha true true. Thanks man! I'll keep it up 🤙
That's good drop man! Can't wait to see those wheels on. Now do a jdm front and rear bumper swap lol
Yusss. Dream would be jdm face-lift spec b front end with something like an emotion fukuoka rear. Money money 😤
Car is looking great man! Love the fifteen 52s for both yours and Tanners.
Thanks, man. We're planning on getting out and doing some collab shots with both cars soon that I think will be pretty cool. 🤙
Everyone, wake up! Matt dropped a new video!
Going to bed... NOOOOT. 😉
The build is going amazing cant wait to see the finish!
Thanks man, starting to get a visual theme there 👌
Watchin on work break 🔥 you’re building the legacy STi the world never got! Looks way better fosho 3:17 as a bugeye owner I appreciate the rep 🔰
We've wanted to bring a bugeye to the channels for a while. 👌👌 thanks bro 🤙
Sick 😷 J can’t wait to get coil overs for the Fozzy!!! Great tips for the extenders!!!
Yaaaas! Thanks Paul 👌👌
👀👀👀 Christmas? Again? This'll be a good one👍🏼
Righttt lol this thing has needed some look good parts for way too long.
Good to see another video, those rims look really nice.
I have them mounted now love them, I have to make some tweaks here and there, but I'm still in the "that isn't my car phase" which is pretty fun.
Great content brotha 🔥🔥
Thanks dude 😁👌
Hope it was a good puppachino, had me laughing at mittens being slammed on its nutz! Ahaha

Waited for you to load this!
Yaaaas. Took soo long to upload for some reason. 🥴
Did you get the wheels on it?
@@superbike155 yess, can't really drive it until I roll the fenders but working on the wheel video now. They are sending me some replacement parts for the wheel cover pieces as there were some issues removing them for balancing.
Let’s goooo! Matt’s a stance boi now lol jk that height is perfect.
I may have had to raise it just a little bit, they settled A LOT...😆
Oooohhhhhh baby slammed life incoming
😅 This wasn't supposed to happen 🤣
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Awesome content bros!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 #BlessingsToTheFam #EJGURUS
Appreciate it dude 😁😁
Looks much better. Never understood why they made the front so much narrower on the wagons.
Always been confused on that as well. 😆
@@MatlasDI it's too bad you can't do a sedan front swap on an outback. Pulling together parts so I can finish my wrx wagon swap
@Josh Anderson Legacy sedans have the same problem, unfortunately. My outback was a little less noticeable, but still had to work around it. 🥲
Madrig now makes a carbon wide fender front for jdm face-lift which would be cool if I get around to swapping front clips on this one.
Mucho better 👍👍👍
Thanks dude 👌
😁👍🏻👍🏻
Noice!!!!!!!
Awhhhyeaaaaaaah 👌👌
The look of something is last. It may be what catches my eye, but it almost never paramount. Your venn diagram may be different. But I do appreciate your dedication to function first.
Exactly. I've always done maintenance and the powertrain stuff first. It can feel "unfulfilling" at times, but we stick through it. 👌
Have you tried the oem strut tower brace with the bendable middle area? I wonder how much of a difference it makes if at all.
We've put them on cars before. They do still work in the sense of limiting tower flex by tying them together, but don't do as much as a solid bar. They do it for nvh reasons from what I understand.
Nice one Matt, I’m trying to consider coils for my Forester but, have to consider kids and my wife riding in the car too, so how are the BC’s compared to the stock setup for comfort? Their site says they retain some comfort but……..🤷♂️
Like any coil, they're only as good as you set them up. Even at the normal spring rate, it is going to be a bit stiffer feeling than a normal spring. If you're just looking to lose some height, I'd also look into lowering springs that are full-size coil instead. Swift makes a set for most vehicles, and I've had a lot of people say they love the ride quality.
1:05 I feel you I don't like taking pictures of my legacy on stocks it just doesn't look right with the front mount, also been waiting on this video from Instagram. Because I wanted to put bc's on my legacy too.
Right? I get why it's normally the first two things people do to cars, but I've always tackled engine builds first. I guess it does make sense to do it the other way around and may start to with following builds. 👌
@@MatlasDI that's exactly what I did I went wheels, tires suspension then moved onto the engine build I'm currently waiting on parts for my FP Blue set up.
@MCCale914 That'll be a fun one! blues make very nice power. 👌
Oh man. Makes me want to slam my Outback Wagon. Too bad it's not an XT 😭😭
Still a wagon, bruh 😎 get after it 😉
@@MatlasDI Will do boss man 🫡 Just gotta save up as I'm a broke bih and the old gal still needs bushings and a rear sway bar
@hotdogbuns255 I feel that bro 👌👌
Looks great! How’s your toe and camber in the rear? I did the camber and rear toe arm to fix my alignment on my Bh chassis
All over the place, like always 🤣 I'll wind up picking the adjustable lateral links in the future when i do bushings, etc. Haven't done adjustments yet, but I should be able to get them relatively spec'd for the time being.
@@MatlasDI Haha. I’d like to know how close you get it, I tried two shops and nobody could get it close enough, I ate thru tires every 3-4 months
@@kylekennedy21 yeah I'm sure it won't be good, just enough to get by until we get the adjustable pieces in.
First one in. Cheers bro.
aye lets go!
Can you attach a link for these coil overs
@@davidbye11 www.rallysportdirect.com/part/bcr-f-04-br-bc-racing-br-coilovers
@David Bye depending on how low you're going, they changed their spring rates which I wasn't aware of. It is now 7k front 6k rear, which is a bit too soft for the wagon, I'd recommend at least an 8k/8k setup, but run a 12/10 setup on the outback which is my more track oriented build.
Me and my 03 Legacy L are here for this.
🙏🙏🙏
Okay so while we are on suspension I have a question. It's not about lowering it's about lifting my 08wrx hatch. I know I know uncool but I just got invited to hunt on some land with monster bucks on it but I can't access the spot because I need just like 1-2 inches of ground clearance and some meatier tires depending on weather. Would you be able to recommend a way to do this without ruining the car for street driving?
There's nothing wrong with that. I have a friend that has a gd wrx that is basically a monster truck at this point 😄
If you're leaving it like that, look at getting a lift kit that includes frame spacers, not just strut spacers. I believe lp adventure has a kit that includes it all. That way, geometry stays the same. You don't necessarily need to replace struts or springs to get it done and riding well as it should still have similar predictability to stock. If you've got more questions I'd recommend calling up PRE Racing and chatting with the guys there, they are the same company as rallitek, and im sure they've done this type of things a ton of times. 👍
@@MatlasDI awesome thank you! Now I have a starting point! Step 1: gather info. Step 2: somehow get the old lady to buy in lmfao wish me luck. 🤙
Edit: the wife is not purchasing the parts. I'm not lucky enough to have a sugar momma 😂
@@FADWC I've learned it's easiest to convince them over dinner out somewhere 👌👌 God-speed. 🤣
What front mount and intake do you have on this?
It's a grimmspeed front mount for a GR sti with wrx cold side piping, and a Cobb SF intake. 👌
I got around 70k on my BC's...I want to send them off to get serviced but it seems to be a process.
I have around 40k on the set in my Outback, and cleaned and lubricated everything when I swapped to swift springs around 2k ago. Worked nicely as a little mini refresh.
Talk in the videos, small info bombs are good.
yeah I'll stick to talking lol. but I do kind of like using less time lapsing.
Could you do a ez30 swap
If It makes sense financially at some point, I'd love to. Might be easier just to buy and turbo an already h6 equipped car, though.
@MatlasDI the h6 sub frame bolts right up and if you were to buy a h6 you would have to 5 or 6 speed swap it I recommend the 6 speed because of the extra torque
Put it all the way down…plzzzz
It was already hella low once things settled. I was hitting the stops constantly, and now that the wheels are on ive raised it a bit and It's chewing up the new tires pretty bad in the rear. I'll roll the fenders in the next day or so and then go through and dial things in. 👌
