- The 12th episode of a 30 day motorcycle road trip series that takes us from Washington up through parts of Canada, east to Tennessee, down through Louisiana, and then back up through Utah and places in between. In this episode, we explore a piece of history in San Antonio, swim under a bridge, and cowboy camp in the Texas desert.

Awesome to see another video. Love the channel and what you are doing. It's refreshing to see someone riding an evo around the country instead of a brand new low rider st or road glide. Keep on running that evo man, it'll last for ya. Look at scooter tramp scotty, he lives on his harley and it's an evo. He has a video where they swapped the motor and he gives excellent tips on upgrades that'll make the evo run a long time with no issues.
We sure love the Evo and plan to keep running it for sure. The perfect trip bike for us!
Riding the US 90. it's a journey by itself, camping the Del Rio Amistad park is a plus, the beach is rocky but so cool. I spent a week there before riding to Marfa ( the Prada store) then Terlingua..a place to go for sure...enjoy the ride ( the Big bend National park and the Hot spring on the Rio Grande,,a must)

Amistad was really cool - would be great to spend more time there. Very cool, we did a similar route on this trip, Marfa then Prada store. Didn't get down to Big Bend but is on our list for next time we are down that way. Thanks!

We had to rush through Texas so didn't get to see as much as we wanted to unfortunately. Hopefully we will be back in the future and can see more of it!
You'll have to go Europe if you want to see really old buildings and structures from 3000 years ago.

Great views and scenery being off the interstate. Love the old church in San Antonio. The Food looked yummy that you had in the restaurant. Certainly looked like lots of it... I have been cutting back on my intake to try and get some of my girlish figure back for the cruise trip. LOL. Dang hard.... You youngins have no trouble burning the calories and staying in shape.. That bird near the end of your video looked like a roadrunner? Awesome stuff. Thanks a lot.

Thank you for sharing your journey! That mission...how cool is that? I found one like that, but not as old, on my way to Glacier National Park many years ago. Very interesting. Sleeping out beneath the stars in Texas. That is just great.

It is best to take a trip like that when you are young. Once children come, job pressures, bad health, and bills to pay arrive, then it becomes much harder to get away. And you did it "two up" on a bike that small. My hat is off to you.

Wow guys! I can’t believe you was right in Del Rio, TX and you didn’t get a chance to check out Hooker’s 1 Stop. It’s a cool bait and tackle shop/restaurant/ karaoke bar. Great food and people. There’s a campground about 100 feet away overlooking Lake Amistad. Beautiful view!
There’s also a wonderful campsite at Lake Meredith in Fritch, TX. A cool little town with a biker bar called Wizard’s. Enjoy life!

Great that you got to see some of San Antonio’s Missions! Though sometimes a little warm it’s a great place to live! You should come back in April for Fiesta. I’m looking forward to your take on Marfa. Looks like a fun trip!

Did you have to carry extra fuel? Sometimes its a long way between stations out there.
We didn't and there were a few times we started getting a bit nervous!

Oh wow - crazy you had that close encounter like that. We make sure to check our boots in the morning before putting them on and no close calls yet. That would be terrifying!

We have an insta360 camera, very cool camera with two lenses. We put it on a stick and stick it out to the side. Thanks for the support!
what kind of helmets do you have? are they loud? do you wear earplugs?
Nika has a Bell, Calen's is a biltwell. We both wear earplugs on the road as well. Nika gets some wind noise in hers but with the earplugs its all good. Thanks for watching!

The 360 cameras are interesting, but Im not a fan of some of the distorted images they create.
