- I put a Yamaha banshee 350 in my 1999 kx250 dirtbike! I tried to challenge my self and complete the swap in under 24 hours challenge.

Thats pure madness. Those exhaust don't seem to be confortable, if I were you I would try to relocate them, altough i know it isn't an easy task.

You got the bike rolling and working that is what matters at this point.. If you can finish the bike in a second part2 24hour video would be awesome accomplishment!!! Please edit the next video much longer, a 11minute video doesn't cut the thirst we have for your channel! Keep up the good work!!

Something worth building is worth building right. Rome wasn't built in a day. It took longer than 24 hrs.
An awesome build Vasily! You really need to try a 2 into 1 pipe like a Dynoport for your bike.....this will give you much better bottom end power with the same Banshee-like topend. The Shearer pipes are more mid-top rpm pipes.
That would work. Snowmobiles have twins and triples with a single pipe. Yamaha even had a 4 cylinder, but I’m not sure how many pipes they ran.

What I like about your videos is your doing something different all the time instead of the same ole same ole like everyone else is doing! That one guy started buying and fixing up bike's and stuff and everyone started doing it so it's really hard to find a decent bike now for a good price! Thanks for your hard work!

I've been researching stuff for a CR500 build. For gas tank clearance on particular years, they heat them up and push them in. Not sure how much clearance you need
5:08 I had this happen to me on a cordless drill with way less power and that hurt alot. I could even imagine what that did to your wrist.
Thanks for the inspiration I always wanted to put my old motorcycle motor 1986 yamaha 600 fz that got wrecked but I wanted to put the motor on my dirt bike
Find a TDR 250 project, they are expensive sadly, but they are basically what you're building. Would be cool if you swapped a banshee engine into one and did a good job of it. You would have the whole TDR 250 community following you 😂

The next time you have a "space" problem wih a plastic dirt bike gas tank you need a heat gun and a piece of wood. Heat the hell out of the gas tank and use the pieco of wood to press/shape it in a way that makes thing fitt.
I have done e few engine swaps in my time, and almost everytime you put a big engine in a samaler frame the gas tank needs some "shaping" room for to the spark plug(s)
Other then that you did an amazing job as always. Cant wait to see what this thing can do when you get it all complete.

Very nice build ! If this can help, epoxy don’t glue on polyethylene gas tank. You can only melt on another part with hot air gun or welder.

I’m doing this with a blaster 200 n a 88kx125 frame with a kx500 fork and then I’m wanting to extend the swing arm for hill climbing hahah I have like 4 swing arms so idk

Dude put 17 inch supermoto wheels on it! You'll have more than enough clearance for that exhaust and it will be fun as hell to ride
what a beautiful monster , this takes me back to my childhood when my older brother took a yz 80 chassis and im almost sure he and a friend of his stole a yz 250 and i think they put this together in two days he put the engine and complete front end on this build it was not pretty at all but she was a handful when the throttle got twisted keep on dreaming dood
You should be able to heat-up the offending part of the gaz tank with a heat gun and push it-in!...

Ive been talking to a snowbike group the last week about how interesting it would be to see a banshee motor with twin Lectron carbs (they do make a lot) in a bike frame on a Timbersled kit.

You could use a heat gun on plastic fuel tanks in the future to dent the bottom in and make them fit. Then they don’t leak. That’s what I did with my kx250 af build.
Whatta a build. I just liked a subscribed my friend. That’s a whole lotta work to try and cram into a 24hr period of time. It’ll all come together with a few more hours of work. Have you consider crossing the pipes in the front? Maybe it would help to keep the pipes closer to the bike
tires on pipes wont be your problem, legs on pipe and hands on pipe when using choke.
Hey man so cool love the channel! one tip I'd recommend get a cheap solder iron I'm sure you have one infact but practice plastic welding that tank could be sealed up nicely just wear protection and test for leaks with water

Careful with epoxy and gasoline I almost totaled a 4 stroke like that. I used it back il the days to seal rust holes, with ethanol in the gas now, it dissolved the epoxy, shot the fuel pump, sprayed on intake valve stems, keeping them sticking open, and almost kissing the pistons.
Your crank, read valve, carbs are probably exactly in the same shape, it might be wise to feel up your bottom end with ethanol to clean up the crank.
Love you videos, long time fan here. My guy there are so many power plants you could use other than a banshee!! So many crashed bikes out there you could use!!

I know yo you were in a rush, but fatigue can be costly! When you were drilling on the frame I saw it coming right before it twist you up!😅 close! I almost lost my hand with a grinder at it happened just that fast..

Be careful with the 1/2" drill. I have 2 screws in mine from it getting caught and twisting my hand drilling a 9/16' hole in to some 1/2 plate.

Haven't found an epoxy or even gas tank repair that actually works on a plastic tank. Next time consider using a heat gun to deform the tank to suit..just a thought.
That would make a sick hill climbing bike but I would definitely make some cages around the pipes so you don’t crush them

Turn the plastic piece you cut out of the fuel tank upside down and use a plastic filler rod with a soldering iron... you melt the pieces back together.

I have problem with my 50cc 2 stroke Cagiva Prima 50, when i put my hand on carb intake it has ni vacum and doesnt suck in air what is problem?
Leaking gas doesn't explain it cutting out through the revs. Need to tune the carbs and throw some cans in the stingers
