You know a character is hard to play when, whenever he's on the screen, all you hear is the sound of him getting the shit kicked out of him. I swaer, every fight with Black Panther involved is him going 'AUUGHH! AUUUGGH! AUUUGH!'

Fate862 u unlocked the s2 characters wow? I was so happy that I unlocked all s1 characters I payed for the s2 ones to support capcom..
design wise that is. Black Panther is like Chun or Strider but worse. He seems to not have good reach on his normals, and like the other 2, it's skill curve is high, for doing little damage.
Also if you mean like Max, then there are better "sandbag" characters to build stone meter

man, strider combos look delicious in this game, gotta say
With BlackPanther/Soul during Storm you want BP on point and you want your partner to be doing the work. BP's role in this situation is to move from wall to wall and keep switching sides so that your partner character can keep on resetting the opponent. Of course your partner deals less damage, but that's his optimal use during Soul Storm.
Where's the Panther gameplay? Lol It looks like a strider expo with panther tags. lol
One thing you can say about Max is he has really good defensive play to his style. His only weakness is he drops combos a lot and gets punished for it.

I will admit BP's gold and purple black armor design is An amazing sight to behold.
I understand that the black cloth is for modern day night stealth, but I love the gold coloring. It truly makes him look like a king. Now all he needs is a purple cape.

It took me a while to get Panthers wall cling cancel combos but I got them down finally.
Max's MvCI videos, but every time he wins, it's Strider who always win.
but for reals, that constant sound effect that reminds me of Deadpool from MvC3 that sounds like "hey! heey! heeey!"

Scrolling through my subs, I thought for a second that Nightmare from Soul Calibur had been added into this game.....but then I remembered that it would've meant that Capcom would have taken time and effort to put in a badass and cool character from a dead franchise.
I'm sure you know this now, but for aerial super to connect, you need to hit with both hits of predator art.

Black panthers air interceptor is so tricky to use I rarely see it work
Max is great at the game but he doesn't take advantage of Black Panther's wall cling options.
Wall cling combos aren't worth the difficulty of using them. You can do easier combos for similar damage.
GameDragonify Very true! However, the wall cling allows different options and opportunities for tagging, avoiding reality surge, and overall avoiding many projectiles or even punishing them.

Yes, advance guard and punish. Not that difficult, honestly. The only characters who have uber hard combos to punish are Dante and maybe Dorm and Zero to a degree.
Not getting hit or playing something else. Mahvel is not for everybody.

What do you think about giving the stones a passive ability on top of all the ones it already has. Like an example is for the soul stone, if your character who is out fighting doesn’t get hit for like 3 seconds they start to slowly regain some red health. Another one that I thought of is for the power stone, when a character switches in the first hit deals double damage, and other things like that for all the other stones. What do you think of capcom adding this to the game?

Formation super is slow around him,i think in Umvc3 was a little bit more faster.

Noob question here: In the fight against Gamora and Spiderman, is there any strategic value to the opponent using the Soulstone when both his characters were alive? Isn't that one supposed to be used when you have lost a character?
Lord Baktor Yes. You can do some very damaging combos with both characters on the screen and prevent the opponent from using their infinity storm.

StaticShock42 Your Capcom list sounds solid, but your Marvel list is...eh. I mean we do NOT need Punisher. We already have too many gun characters so unless his whole thing is driving the battle van I'm gonna say I don't want it, and even then. Dare Devil I could care less about in this game unless he just has a crazy move set. Luke Cage and Iron Fist...should have been in the game to begin with.
That said how would you feel about Samanosuke instead of Soki?
Zeter Zero I would be ok with either. I just want an Onimusha character in the game. To be honest I had a lot of trouble thinking of characters I would want to see on the Marvel side without the X-Men or Deadpool.
Ricardo Sepulveda I want Vergil too. I was trying to think of characters we either haven't seen in a vs game or haven't been seen in a long time.

Why is he playing the PC version, it is always versus the same 10 people or so. I mean, they may not be that many but i am 100% certain there is A LOT more players on PS4. It is getting too predictable.
Max, I really hate that Strider spam combo you do. The one where you do that fullscreen slash and then send that rocket thing to hit them when they're on the ground, you usually end it with that teleport dive kick. You won't get any style points for using it. Make me proud.
