If there is one thing I miss from Ultimate, it was them nerfing Dante's damage from Vanilla so he has to work harder to get equivalent damage with other characters simpler BnBs. So obnoxious that they rolled those nerfs back.

He can only cancel his specials if he hits which sucks so if you do a special and they block or you wiff you have to cover yourself some how most likely with a tag.

I'm still boggled about Dorm's thorn spell staying on hit but Chris Redfields landmine and nade go away when he's hit... Not to mention the slow start up and nades can't be layered... While I don't think Black Panther should do MORE damage, he SHOULD have some more utility. Things he SHOULD have: -Air Dash -Invincible DP (he has no projectiles yet Zero gets an Invincible DP) -More priority on his Air Rekka. People have damn DIVE KICKS with more priority!!! -A bit of Armor on his wall clings and wall clinging attacks. He is TOO crippled by projectiles and reality stone. And his suit is VIBRANIUM damnit!! -maybe even latent small amount of armor vs projectiles period? He is such a close up damager, but projectiles stop him in his tracks. He has super high execution to do combos. He should have some utility because of it. As of right now, you work 10x as hard as anyone in the cast to do less damage. And again indont MIND his current level of damage. He's a speedy character. The DAMAGE is fine. He needs utility to be able to get IN without being stopped so easily by small things.

One question, are you playing on hitbox cuz that's pretty fast for a stick. I can parry 720 in third strike and what you're doing is faster than that , granted its less inputs on the actual commands but hot damn if that was stick im super impressed
looking at these 2/3 life combos with no tagging it makes me wonder why so many players seem to love tagging in the middle of combos so much, even when it means bringing in a really low life character who ought to be resting.
elindred these combos are probably super difficult to do and you’d more than likely drop it. So I’d rather get guaranteed medium damage versus risking a long combo with heavy damage that I might drop.

Not everyone is giving her love for that but it is a valid reason. My reason for using her is because I am a Monster Hunter fan. I started playing the series in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and my brother got me into it. I like how her moveset is reminiscent to the series itself. The kick she does is a gesture in the MH games and the Dual Blades super is a move in the MH games as well. She's like a playable reference to the Monster Hunter series and I like her for that.

Black Panther is extremely difficult to use especially when you have Dante doing less for more damage and setups.

elindred because tag combos are easier to execute than these. And lots of time they do more damage.

elindred I either tag mid combo for either post combo meterless damage, resets, and to optimize some combos that normally don't work full screen
elindred tag allows to have way more options.
