Gotta trim the roots when you trim the leaves/stems. Sometimes they take half a minute to recover but it keeps them from getting “too big for their britches” in the mean time.
Aerogarden has a learning curve to it. You can trim the roots of plants like tomatos. You need to be careful. My Cherry tomato plant is going on two years old in the Aerogarden. You also need to regularly trim down your plants when they get that old, as they will grow up into the light and even around it.
Im glad im seeing multiple people say its cool to trim the roots. I was unsure. But figured itd be cool as long as its less than a 1/3 of the plants like when you top or trim .
Growing too many things at once is not recommended. The less you grow, and more you trim the healthier they will be. Also if you add Calmag you won't get near as much of the wilting and browning. Cheers
I know this is a year later but I hope you didn't reconsider! I have an aerogarden and I love it you just have to remember to prune and trim the roots.

So is the areogarden meant to start the growing process than transfer to a pot or are u suppose to just use the areogarden period?

I got two of the bounty on clearance for $99 each a few months back & I still haven’t set them up. Lol maybe I’ll try doing that this weekend.
What kind of fertilizer are you adding to your water?
Thumbs up cause I love ya, Sis. Good luck on your herb garden.
Chemical fertilizers, yummy 😋
Did they survive

This is exactly what I'm dealing with now. Just moved my tomatoes and dill. Next will be my basil. My mint, thyme, and parsley didn't survive.
I'm hoping everybody makes it but I think the trauma of getting them separated and out of the Aerogarden may have been too much😟
Oh My! They will be fine 🙂
Trim the roots. It’s good for the plant and the pump.
👍🏾
I just went to try and FINALLY set up my Aerogarden I got on Amazon and the light won't turn on. I'm so annoyed 😒 I want my herbs!!!
Make sure your light plug in all the way,you have to really push it in
Ruts?
Its a table top auto grow setup . Larger and better options .
Hello fellow UA-cam Gardener ❤️
When your plants get that big it's time to get some potting soil. They are searching for nutrients. Put in soil and put them in a sunny window.
Aerogarden provides bottles of hydroponic nutrients
The Roots wanted to be like you it wanted to form some dreads:-) PS I'm a sista
Please plant those herb babies in some soil 😂
Don’t use all the holes
Braaah. ?
Try less phosphorus
