Just realized, when enhancing weapons you can use one weapon at a time to enhance your weapons. This increases your chance to get “Great Success”. This will allow you to improve your weapons using less items and meseta.

I just realized that too, when i enhancing my rifle with 25 Silver swords. It can reach lvl 30+.
Yeah, but then you get "great success" with one weapon only as opposed to 5

Yes, always shoot for 7, not 10, when enhancing. Then go for 9, then 10. Same with 10s, 20s, 30s...
Definitely some things I wasn't aware of here, hadn't looked over at the 'Room Transfer' function, as well as the Sector Info on the map! Another great video :D

When room transferring, sorting by “vacancies” instead of “default sorting” is very useful when you want to get into nearly full room. Scroll to nearly the bottom and you’re good to join whatever one has the space you’re needing.
The accessing storage thing also works in the Item lab, letting you fodder or enhance items right in your storage, provided it's a standard storage (IE, one that you can deposit into, and not something like drop storage) or material storage for those augment capsules.
Change the lock-on setting to "camera based" rather than character direction (I can't remember the exact terms).
This makes lock-on much more consistent!

@@MasterNochi make sure you have "switch target" bound to something convenient. combining that with camera based lock-on really makes targeting a lot more fluid. well, as fluid as it can be. :D
surprised you didnt mention that when doing dailies or what have you for items that need to be collected if you go into your task list and specify which quest you're doing in terms of gathering it'll lead you directly to the item in its exact spot
Yea, definitely didn't know about the region info thing. Will make hunting for the last few red boxes MUCH easier!
Room transfer is the most useful feature since I discovered it on my own. So much easier to farm as a group rather than by myself.

in alot of arcade fighting games they use numbers, because it's easier to translate across many different types of controllers. so someone on switch can tell someone ps4 their combo's and have it not be a confusing mess.
so it's just a way to explain things across platforms. it's kinda cool they added that.

Honestly wish their were some quality of life changes, having a much, much wider FOV/zoomed out camera along with health bars for enemies would go a long way imo
Would be nice to have a good source of Meseta farming along with drop rates for 4* weapons
Edit: having a way to turn off/heavily hide all the flashing from sword swings would be AMAZING as well. Can't dodge attacks i literally can't see because of the camera being up by butt and the sword slashes making a rave. Ninja boss is my nightmare due to all the flashing i have to try and see the tiny purple circle that barely gives enough time to react as it is, let alone the constant flashing during combat
agree, health bar of monsters is a must to have in any game
@@babu-oh8ss i want it because when you have enemies THIS tanky, it would be nice to know that my 10 minutes spent fighting it has actually done something. A health bar is a good indication of that, it also helps indicate if i'm lacking in DPS or not because i can physically SEE how much i'm doing via the health bar.
It should at least be an option, especially considering the enemies DO have them in the emergency stuff

@@babu-oh8ss this game has been out for decades and has never had health bars. It’s really not an issue. It’s not hard to see when they’re close to dying either
@@marycorn3621 it IS hard to tell how long it's going to take for a boss to change form. I fought a dread boss for the first time yesterday and i literally couldn't finish it because of how long the fight went on and i ran out of heals around it. It was super obnoxious not being able to tell if i even made a dent.
I have dodge on my side mouse key, and weapon action on the second one, which frees me up for a third pa slot with middle click if I disable the wheel. Also, it allows me to move around faster than sonic bc I can just instantly go into dashing and it's less awk than hitting x. For me at least. lol

Something you should mention that i believe is a MAJOR qol is, setting Wall Jump form Auto>Manual. It helps you control your movement so much more!
you can start any cocoon or training tower from the world map. if a friend just started once they can join your party, you can help them get their 18 extra skill points(2 cocoons are mandatory). i think you can do the same with a urgent quest.

Thanks. I didn't know about changing the symbols. I like playing with the controller and keyboard, but when I make the controller the main then the keyboard only let's me type, but with keyboard as the main I only saw the keyboard controls. This really helped with that issue.
Me and my friends have been going back and forth between zones so we could all farm in the same place, now I feel dumb for not knowing about Room Transfer, thanks for the info

How did you manage to rebind the over the shoulder view key? I changed it in the standard and OTV tabs, but getting back into normal view remained on the Z key, and I went through the entire list, there were no more keybinds on Z.
You can bind a key to open the world map, in the settings. Then just open the world map and teleport wherever you want from wherever you are. No need to be near a Ryuker Device to teleport. I just found out this yesterday...
How’d you get the blood scythe camo to work on your wand? I’m playing hu/te and can’t get it to work on both ?
Pretty cool guide. Now the only hack that I need is the one to remove the lag so I can actually use these life hacks in the game. Hopefully the maintenance will finally settle this down.
can someone hack the maintenance to end earlier than 1am I mean 3am I mean 3 days..
I haven't had lag since the maintenance, but with the last one it also was good for the first few hours and then got worse than before. Let's hope this time it stays good

Best Way to save Meseta I've found when enhancing units is to make "bombs" to level your higher gear. say for example you level a tzvia armor to +20 by feeding 15 of itself into it. that's 30k Meseta. then you can use that to enhance say a vialto armor up by at least 2 levels for just 4000 meseta, coming out to a grand total of 34k. if you wouldve fed all 16 tzvia armors into the vialto it wouldve been about 64k instead, and you may be missing out on bonus xp as well.

If I'm not mistaken, Tab is the default button for switching lock-on, right? You can change the button for switching lock-on similar to how you changed the third action from wheel click (like shown in the video)
Just go to control settings, keyboard settings, then set the controls to how you like
I really wish we could choose what info displays above characters heads more precisely. Like have all the options be check boxes and choose exactly what info you want, that way you could have Alliance Name and Character Names displayed, but not over your own character

Pretty sure that's the Bloodedge from the Blazblue crossover on PSO2. You'll need 100mil+ at this point to buy off the player shop.

Hey i know this question is not NGS based, but i saw when you were waiting for the launch you were playing PSP infinity with the English patch. I have been wanting to play it myself. Would you by any chance be willing to do a vocal detailed tutorial on how you patched it. I have not been able to follow the ones i have seen. What weapon/camo is that that you use
Here is a tip. Don't forget to grab your items from [Get Campaign Items] from the System Menu when in NGS. It doesn't stand out like the Visiphone alert did in PSO2.
oh god that middle mouse wheel was driving me mad.. I adjusted everything a few days ago, now the only thing that pisses me off mightily is manual aim with Z snapping to the character direction instead of the camera direction... like who tf would play that way? xD

NIce video - what i am still struggeling with is meseta though. Is there a way to farm it fast and effectively without the use of the personal shop? Ofcourse i can just mindlessly grind my life away but thats not always a possibility.
Red boxes, you'll get around 500k meseta. Google it.
I just found out that holding down the menu button just opens up the map straight away.

Always hated this in uq. Weak point opens up, tries to lock on, toggling between every boss part but said weak point.
Where do I go to claim the items the developers give us I can only claim it from pso2 but I don't know where to claim in ngs
I really hope the Mod Nexus gets up and throws in a Perma Boss Zoom Mod together. The close arse camera always bothered me in the original game and now even more since we actually could use a further zoom...

Is there any way to toggle off the annoying red exclamation mark notifications for titles that continuously pop up as you play? Am I doing something wrong where I have to literally hover over each individual title in a section and subcategory for it to clear the notification? It's so annoying and time consuming it's making me go insane

Buying storage is it permanent or temp
The reason why 'Numbers', is an option for the controller, is because some of the more generic controllers out there, use numbers in place of PlayStation and Xbox symbols, to avoid them being too similar and facing lawsuits. I actually own a couple of these controllers from years back, from when I used to play, Dungeon Fighter Online.

Hi, I'm someone who is new to PSO2 NGS. I decide to choose Cast as my character, but does that mean my choice of fashion is limited now? Can I use any other races outfit?

Is drop storage recent? The game tells me it destroys anything else I pick up after my pockets are full. ._.;;
We need to be able to set our view to the same view as it goes to furring a boss fight as our standard view distance. If you make a large character it's near impossible to play.
Press the + sign on the numpad, if you are playing with keyboard. view will zoom out
@@babu-oh8ss it helps but when I like making massive shoulders with accessories sticking way out around my character that tiny little adjustment they give us isn't enough.

I see room transfer. But don't know how to make a room with just me and invite people to it.

If you haven't figured it out yet, you add the same password to both parties limit requests from others, and then go to the area/search the UQ.
I'm a new player, can someone tell me where or how to find a guild? i 'm stuck on rescuing dozer quest and i guess thats as far as i can go solo for now regarding my skill level.

You can find people promoting their alliances on the Phantasy Star Fleet Discord server, and a lot of them are accepting new players. However, I'm pretty sure that quest, like most story quests, has to be done solo.
It's easier if you're playing a ranged class, but if you're trying to clear it as a Hunter or Fighter, try to do attacks in the air instead of on the ground, since the stomping attack AOE won't hit if you're airborne. Also make sure you've upgraded your equipment and have taken your class skills, since they help a lot.
I think you could also keep your distance and have Dozer kill it for you if you're extremely patient.

You need to have actually seen a 3* or 4* weapon to be able to buy it off the shop.. a simple way you can do this is press T to get the cursor and click on nearby players and check their gear
@@just_a_sushi you can buy them without seeing them. You just can't search for them. Sooo click 3 or 4 stars and search

nope..... only player health bar. They don't do it for enemy :(
Only Urgent Quest bosses have health bars. Like Lone said, there's no health bars for enemies in PSO.
Thanks for the video. Is there a way to quickly switch sub palette that have binding of 1 to 0? I can press J and assign skill to the bar but have no idea how to quickly switch it with keyboard and mouse. It sometimes jump form book 1 to book 3 randomly and it's really annoying. Thanks for your help and reply.
There should be a hotkey for that in settings, or alternatively you can create a chat command for that, you'll have to Google all the pso2 ngs chat commands tho
Pretty sure it's on mouse wheel up/down by default as well as another pair of keys; I just use the mouse wheel so I don't know the other keybinds.
@@cenedor69 The mouse wheel is for weapon palette though. So I still have no idea how to do it for the bar 1-0. Will gonna test it again later after maintenance
