Just a few corrections. TAMES do not drop augments. They only drop meat (or silver/gold primm swords if the are silver/gold) Alts Secreta drops from ALTERS. For souls, Forms, Alts and Dolz drop from FORMERS, ALTERS and DOLLS respectively. Daityl drops from Daityl Sword and Axe only. Pettas drops from the UQ but also the smaller Pettas enemies (gun/sword/etc). Nex only drops from the dragon, however you can encounter it in Resol Forest from PSE bursts, maybe trials as well.

I play force, so I don't pay attention to it, I was just going by what the info out there says. I'll edit the post. Floor potency closes the gap between possible damage you can do with a weapon; weapons have damage adjustment percentages(seen on their second tab, under enhancement lvl). 70-100% on 1-3*, 75-100% on 4*. Floor potency makes the bottom number bigger.
Yeah, I can kinda guess. Realistically increasing that is better than increasing the top number for maximum sustain dps but idk if potency increase all number or just the top number.
Sustain vs Burst damage, not everything is burst damage. A guy with a range of 1 to 120 vs a guy with a range of 30 to 100, the second dude have more damage overall. If the first dude is lucky, then perhaps in just one fight. But in multiple fights, which you do all the time, luck favors the average number.
when you put potency floor augment capsules in your armor it also changes your pfi%? i ask this because i already put 2 pfi capsules on my armor but when i look at my weapon it only reads the capsule on my weapon(76%-100%) it should be (79%-100%) since i put two on my armor *note alt secreta II (1.5%pfi). thanks in advance for the answer

I was rather intimidated by the augment system so I’ve just been hoarding -all- of my capsules. Finally ready to take the plunge and this video helped me a ton. So thank you! And that 10% fail was rough but hey now we -all- know that answer haha. I’m sorry.
Just for reference, I added potency floor increase augs to my weapon for a total of 4% potency floor increase, and my damage range went from 75-100% to 79-100%, so it boosts your bottom damage range by the % amount listed. Unfortunately I didn't see any change in stats when I added standard potency increases (type specific or generic). I did see the weapon up stats reflect the % increase, but it didn't impact my attack power on the character sheet, or the base attack power of the weapon, so it must be calculated after damage is rolled. Oh yes, and the RNG sucks. My 90% rolls actually average about 55%. maybe 60%. Can't tell you how many 90% rolls I've failed :P. I even cringe when I have 80%.

Saw a map on Reddit. The rotation isn’t exactly correct but the locations worked for me. Starting with the middle hill between the H Wetlands and the Plains, then to the North Plains, then to the east side of the wetland, then west side between the Ryker and the Mag. I had double hits on the hill and in the plains.
You covered how to get every capsule except the ones that I need for my build ..... Honestly I've been looking the internet up and down trying to find out where elemental exploit capsules drop and no one can tell me.......

Where's the best spot in the game to farm basic stat augments? Combat zones give less augments overall for time spent, while exploration zones give a lot more ( almost every non tame kill gives 1 or 2 augments ). Tip : You can use cocoons and such to reset the zone and come back with more enemies respawned. Also leaving a specific location for a bit causes enemies to respawn there as well ( such as cave under mt magnus ), so you could create a route theoretically where enemies are always spawned.

Depends if your fully F2P or if you have Premium! If your F2P I would just 'Convert to Cash' all items below 4* rarity, UNLESS the 3* rarity has an Lv5 FIXA ability.

Doesn’t it work similar to Base PSO where augments on units would apply to weapons you carry? Such as if you place the Floor Potency augments on a unit it would apply to any weapon you had equipped? Just as adding 220 melee power total in augments on units in old PSO2 was applied to your weapon while using.
Just off topic before I say I agree augments make a difference. Is halphia lake really a lvl 60 zone with just little birds that tank your attacks and run away? Ok, I was augmenting the other day and floor augment seem like it applies to techniques. Floor, ground, sweep. I could be seriously wrong. Hopefully one day floor will be completely useful and worth selling.
hopefully someone tests the potency floor on units, I was *hoping* to create universal units with potency floor increase and just use them on all classes I play but if potency floor doesn't work if you put it on units that's a sad moment sir... sad moment.
@keroppi, do augmentations apply passively? like if i put a meleee/ranged attack potency increase augment in my launcher and then i switch to my daggers does the % melee potency increase applies to my daggers too? or do the augments's effects apply only if the weapon were they are slotted is currently in use (the one that appears on your back) at that moment?, i ask this because i noticed my battle power changes depending what weapon i "select" as they have different levels. (btw since better augments require minerals it would be nice if you could make a minig route vid so we can start mining those minerals in as they respawn, also a tutorial about multi weapons would be appreciated)
To sum it up,no affixes are passive when only as a active equipment. A good farming route for materials,start in South with the 6 caves,head to West and run the coast (check the cliffs too if you don't see any on the beach) up to North,circle around all of North,grab the ones on the cliff near the Ryu tower,then head thru the river that leads to halpha lake. I can do all that while killing every vet on the way within about 30 minutes solo at 1366 bp.

I already know how augmenting works and where to farm capsules. I'm just watching and commenting for visibility. Slight correction, you can get Alts Secreta from alter enemies. Alter enemies arw enemies that changes their appearance during the night, enemies like Banehog, Lizard, etc.
Unless you are trying to add augs of the same type, which you can't do. If you look there are different types like ones ending in Note or Soul. You can't have 2 of the Note as they take the same slot. So in 3 slots say, you can have a might,note, and soul for example.

Whichever form the weapon is as you use it is the damage type, so while it’s in rifle form it’s ranged, when in rod it’s tech, so either focus whichever is used more or use an ael note or something that works for both ranged and tech. This is kinda where floor potency works as it applies to both damage types at a slightly lower rate than normal potency, however it works for all types. Ael domina is just good too
There is also a range of augments that add 2 bonus like range/melee damage they end in. Can't remember the name but they end in a letter A,B,C, and D 👍
Wow so unlucky on that 90% fail. I feel like the augment clerk in this game is a amalgamation of Dudu and Monika. I myself failed a 95% a few days ago... xD
Of course you don't have to but I would recommend using mastery on units first, as you don't really need mastery on weapons, as they only do one damage type. What you could try and aim for is mastery III, ael domina, alts secreta II and dread keeper II on all 3 units. That would give +4.5% potency per unit, and dread keeper negates the negatives from secreta. Of course if you are focusing on a single damage type, you could probably skip mastery. For max single damage potency, get Might/Precision/Casting III, Daityl/Pettas/Nex Soul, Ael Domina (or Magnus/Lab/Resola Note) and Alts Secreta II. That would give +7% potency per unit to a single damage type (+3% to the other 2).

Yeah... one of these days my character will get defeated by a Rappy for overkilling rabbits with the fully charged Partisan PA. (One of my base PSO2 characters was squished and defeated by a level 80 Emperappy, so I'm waiting for the same thing to happen in NGS.)
Would be a bit of a fun change if every now and then, one or several of those veteran bosses just start charging towards Central City, and you have to drive it back. Of course, a very nice prize at the end of the battle is very much appreciated~
@@glenmcl you can, but you shouldn't solo if you want to farm them at all. Why? You will have higher amount and chance of obtaining dread keeper II, which sells minimum of 30k/piece at personal shop. But there are is a catch tho, those vet will scale accordingly with the amount of people fighting it....so it become even more hard to kill lol.
Mainly it’s just to finish the veteran quest. They don’t drop much for the time spent, especially if you solo in the plains where you agro all the other enemies in the area.

They get a second chance with the affix system an it’s still on some bull how do you fail with a 90% success rate those can’t be the real percentages even in base pso2 you fail way to often for 80 and 90 percent success rates smh
As an Ael Note farmer... You lose a bit of yourself as well as some humanity... You feel numb at the end... You don't even know why you farmed 50 of each note in the first place. BUT you rack in the $$$$$ cha-ching.

I take that Techters Wand only scales with Technique, not melee even though you use it to smash your enemies faces in.
the cmack attack might scale from melee while your techniques scale with well technique

Assuming you go for the same weapon you will lose only 6 might be 7 levels from feeding your +40 version into a new one with a fixa

Not sure what you mean? U can add 2 augs to a weapon to start, then a third at lvl20, and a fourth at lvl40 (that is for a 4* weapon) 👍

You can not remove them, however you can replace them.

I'm currently farming to get mastery 3 aug for my rod
Of course you don't have to but I would recommend using mastery on units first, as you don't really need mastery on weapons, as they only do one damage type.
What you could try and aim for is mastery III, ael domina, alts secreta II and dread keeper II on all 3 units. That would give +4.5% potency per unit, and dread keeper negates the negatives from secreta.
Of course if you are focusing on a single damage type, you could probably skip mastery. For max single damage potency, get Might/Precision/Casting III, Daityl/Pettas/Nex Soul, Ael Domina (or Magnus/Lab/Resola Note) and Alts Secreta II. That would give +7% potency per unit to a single damage type (+3% to the other 2).

Yeah... one of these days my character will get defeated by a Rappy for overkilling rabbits with the fully charged Partisan PA.
(One of my base PSO2 characters was squished and defeated by a level 80 Emperappy, so I'm waiting for the same thing to happen in NGS.)

veterans just really take too long to kill, other than their high HP is nothing new from the normal type lol.
Would be a bit of a fun change if every now and then, one or several of those veteran bosses just start charging towards Central City, and you have to drive it back. Of course, a very nice prize at the end of the battle is very much appreciated~

@@glenmcl you can, but you shouldn't solo if you want to farm them at all. Why? You will have higher amount and chance of obtaining dread keeper II, which sells minimum of 30k/piece at personal shop. But there are is a catch tho, those vet will scale accordingly with the amount of people fighting it....so it become even more hard to kill lol.
Mainly it’s just to finish the veteran quest. They don’t drop much for the time spent, especially if you solo in the plains where you agro all the other enemies in the area.
@@noeness3779 I didn’t know dread keeper II dropped from fights. I thought you could only exchange for them! I farm dreads solo, so are you saying they drop higher grades if you fight with a party/group?

They get a second chance with the affix system an it’s still on some bull how do you fail with a 90% success rate those can’t be the real percentages even in base pso2 you fail way to often for 80 and 90 percent success rates smh
time to take the dread keepers off my units...
As an Ael Note farmer... You lose a bit of yourself as well as some humanity... You feel numb at the end... You don't even know why you farmed 50 of each note in the first place. BUT you rack in the $$$$$ cha-ching.
I swear that the augment RNG in this game is a lie!!!!
