    @zizaran, they did comment something about that their primary focus was not MTX/similar until they actually felt they did a good base game first. They didnt want us to feel like they prioritized the mtx before content i guess?

      A respectable position to take, I think everyone is just worried they might run out of funding. Hopefully they have their budget in order

      Makes sense given how many people freaked out when they first introduced the cash shop. Granted there were some things that were problematic with the first cash shop implementation, people overreacted and tore EHG a new asshole just for implementing a cash shop that they said they were going to implement in the roadmap.

    I think it'd be such a good QOL update to be able to apply loot filters to your stash. Instead of having to drop everything on the ground to see if it appears or not, just style the border or name on the item popup or something. It'd be huge!

    For people that don't want to play on cycle and start over, all content will be available in offline and legacy(Standard). The pinnacle boss will not be available until someone kills it on cycle. If no one kills it on cycle the first 7 days they will enable it everywhere. If it gets killed on cycle before 7 days has passed, the pinnacle boss will be available the next day in offline and legacy

      The current TLI season is dopamine pinata so I'm enjoying that atm. Nice that I can just come back to epoch late and play standard or something to try all the new shit.

    i absolutely agree with the "green border around items" for alts ... one of the most annoying mistakes in the game right now

    that thing about max level in an arpg is something that i have had a freaking bone with since D3, and what i have been able too deduct about it so far is:
    once you hit max level, it takes away an avenue of progression, and one that i feel is quite integral, yes i could always push forr max level if that was my choice, but in a game like POE that would require me too instead pursue easier (less risky) content, and that is just no what i enjoy doing, i like doin super rippy unid rare corrupted maps with bosses! so in that case the death penalty ensures that i always have some power too strive for IF I CHOSE, since there is not an expectation of hitting 100%.
    and that is where in my book d3 and d4 fails, since they expect you too hit cap (fairly fast) and relegate you too a sub par "endless grind" which gets boring real fast

      Endless progression is just bad design.
      Endless always equals meaningles.

    People always complain about end game right after a game comes out with a full campaign and some end game. I think we need to cut some of these games a break. The way people talk about it there shouldnt even be a campaign in arpgs anymore. There should just be a leveling experience that is a seemless transition into the wnd game.

      Tbh i never enjoyed campaigns in isometric arpgs, i have 1k hours+ in poe but still D4 campaignless leveling is so good

      Nah. If you make a sequel (cough cough diablo 4) which is worse than the prequel, that's on the devs 100%.
      If you have a game in early access for years which goes live with lackluster endgame and gameplay, that's also on the devs.
      You are right some devs deserve a break. Many don't though. Don't release something half baked and the criticism won't be there.

    I believer Victor Vran was the first "ARPG" like Diablo that had a dodge roll (in 2015).

      Diablo 3 on consoles released in 2013 and it had roll/evade.

      @@wraithulek758 good call! If Dungeon Siege III counts, I think that had a roll in 2011. I find it really interesting tracing down features in games and where they first came from.

    Diablo 3 was the ARPG that invented the invade. It was only in the console version, to help player with positioning since the game was built around m&K controls.

    Agreed on the MTX part, I did not even spend my 350 points I got because I bought the game because non of the MTX was looking good. :)

    I feel the same about these casual leveling speeds. I took ages to get 100 in d2 and there was plenty to desire even if you hit it.

    Think I am gonna start a disintegrate sorcerer in ssf. It got a pretty big buff, and it looks like a fun skill similar to the old scorching ray builds from PoE.

    It is not wolcen that introduced evade mechanic it is actually D3 on consoles that had it first

    I love my arpgs and I love end game grinds and tough bosses
    My problem is though when it gets to pinnacle bosses. I don't necessarily love trying to beat a super uber hard boss.... and if that's the only end game goal then it won't keep me playing for very long. Having variation in end game is what I wanna see. Different modes or things to do (like delve in poe) I'm ok with these getting harder but I just want different things to do.

      This should come with time. 1.2, the cycle after this one, is meant to introduce a completely new endgame activity, so you'll have another activity to do aside from monos, dungeons, the arena and bossing. 1.3 is meant to be expanding the monolith and adding a new echo type, and 1.4 is meant to be adding new bosses, which I assume include non-pinnacle bosses.

    There should be superlevels giving tiny bonuses. Never get the bar done. It's exactly psychological

    New formula for ward making diffrence only after 4k ward barely will make diffrence. Sure, it will make those "immortal" builds weaker, but everyone will still run with ward. 4k ward is still better than 2k life.

    If there is one thing LE does horribly, it is MTX design. They need to dedicate some people to developing spell/skill MTX.

    Being forced to play the campaign every season is a pass for me. I played that campaign so many times with alts last season. I'll just grab grim dawn on steam sale

    Yeah I want to support LE but overpriced one-off skins are not my style, I don't get anything out of buying skins.
    PoE I bought a ton of stash tabs, and I buy the vault pass too because I'm a bit of a sucker for battle passes. I like stuff that I can buy and "progress" through and get stuff for it.
    LE doesn't want to sell stash tabs and they don't want to sell a battle pass, but I don't want the overpriced skins, so I'm left with nothing interesting to throw a bit of cash at.

    No the problem with this game is not endgame, it's the engine and the fact that every mob you encounter and every skill you use feel exactly the same.

    It's SUPER IMPORTANT y'all !!! Anything changed about the endgame cycle or is it the same with just a few new bosses ?

      Every timeline gets a harbinger boss once you meet the conditions. Unlocking and beating all of them lets you fight the pinnacle boss.
      They also made it easier to get alts into endgame.

      You get 10 new harbinger bosses. Once defeated you can challenge the pinnacle boss. There is also the nemesis system wich gives you a mini boss and get better loot. Then you also have a new faction.

    Waiting for devs to add a basic visual effect: Footprints. So character and enemy models look like a part of the world, not just on top of it.

      You still wouldn't really feel part of the world. I don't know if it's just me, but the overworld just feels...I don't know.....cheap? fake? I have around 600¬ hours and I do really like the game but not once did I feel immersed. The music is lackluster, there's no atmosphere. the towns are all boring and every single mob just feels like a prop (D4 has the same issue). Could be just me, though.

      Many of the nerfed builds were hilariously broken and deserved all of the nerfs. The devs have stated that they're balancing the game around 200-300 corruption being the expected corruption for most builds, yet many of the nerfed builds could get up to _thousands_ of corruption without breaking a sweat, and even then the builds didn't top out, the player's patience and sanity topped out as they couldn't take pushing corruption even higher.
