To make the yogurt thicker @suzy you need to let the milk boil for longer like between 10 - 15 mins. Then when covering like the one you put intheoveni usually put a cloth on top before covering the lid. This helps in absorbing any water droplets from the warm temperatures

I used cloths I had bought back when I had a baby. They work just as well. Can easily be found in any baby shop. 😅

Hi Sue,next time cook the pineapples the same way you did the blueberries but add some sugar,if you can, add a small amount of cornstarch to thicken it. It's more yummy and would make the yoghurt last longer than raw pineapples.

Late to the party,🤪 but let me also add some two cents. So, different cows produce different water-quality milk. So, let me send you on a Google study on dairy cows, and the fat-water content of the milk for each type of cow. Then, you can experiment on the milk. Funny story: I grew on upcountry where we milked the cows and made mala with the milk. When I got married and moved to a new rural-urban neighborhood, I went to buy milk and was busy convincing my husband that the milk has water 😂😂 because it was too light (compared to our milk upcountry). I got to learn that it was the 'different' cows.​@@suzyshomestead

Probably the milk was from a fresian cow. Milk from fresian has less fat hence the runny result. If you can get milk from a jersey (not sure about the spelling but it has some brown and white fur) then you'll get less wey.
