You can’t be a Tory MP if you have charisma and credibility as they are unknown words in their vocabulary, only dishonesty and disloyalty are required to climb their ladder to success.

Focusing both sides on getting it sorted instead of it dragging on and on? Trying to prevent extended uncertainty for business and others affected by it? Having an end goal so we can finally move on and have time to address the hundreds of other burning issues in the country? Avoiding a huge swing to a single issue party with no manifesto? I'm a Remainer, I'd rather it didn't happen at all, but that's unlikely, except perhaps in the case of a confirmatory vote. And that still needs something to actually vote on. You obviously need to have a target for completion of a negotiation of this sort that is causing so much disruption on both sides, and ultimately any target is going to be somewhat arbitrary. If the worst case become true, 31 October i will make sure uk have a trade deals ready with at least two of these countries (australia, canada, USA and china) or commonwealth countries.
Rory Stewart is one of the only honest politicians that I've witnessed , he seems like he will do and follow the will of the British people, some of his views are quite hard line but if he is willing to put his own personal opinion aside to follow the will of the people he seems like the guy I'd like to represent me.... If we want out of Europe and he doesn't but because we voted to leave he would get us out and we would leave, to serve the people not himself!!! Seems like the right attitude to have!.
It is great to see young people like Erin (from Glasgow) interested in the important issues facing the UK and the world. On the other hand it is disappointing to see how easily young people are misled by sound bites and slogans. It is easy to focus our attention on something easy to remember and repeat like a trained parrot. It seems that ultra left-wing liberals are continually bringing up "politically correct" issues like climate change. Similarly the ultra right-wing conservatives use patriotism as their political weapon of choice. Political correctness ignores reality and focuses people's attention on secondary or non-existent issues based on pseudo-science reasoning. An entire society will throw all their resources and efforts into solving a problem that does not exist or at worse is a tertiary issue. Of course, we need to find other forms of energy to supplement fossil fuel. But solar and wind energy can only supplement fossil fuel power, hydroelectric power, and nuclear power. Solar and wind energy cannot replace conventional fossil fuel, hydroelectric, and nuclear power.
What a let down, not one question fully answered and all the shouting at each other just showed how incompetent they all are. Basically what they will do to get us out of the EU is use May's terrible deal but delay the backstop until we leave. Parliament won't allow a no deal but because they know that's what the people voted for they pretend to want it as a last resort. I will be voting for The Brexit Party at the next election.

If I am prime minister I will deliver this to people and at the mean time I will focus on no deal and communicate with countries about new trade deals.
Rory Stewart is Teresa May in drag. 😂🤣😂🤣🍼
Rory seems honest...but we are dealing with a Tory all the same.
Rory Stewart looks like he's modeled himself on Tony Blair.
He really does! Even the way he turns his head 😂
A very damp day outside the studio yesterday, was hoping for a bit of thunder inside, but no, just very damp.
You have to pay £150 a year for the privilege of watching the leadership debate for prime minister of Britain.
Sad!
Although I can not vote, I was looking forward to the vote. However it turned into a shambles, with too many interruptions from the chair. Who's job (or should be) to Chair debate not take part in the debate. People who watch political debates understand when politicians are being, "economical with the truth", and don't need so many interruptions as it we're all thick.....
Poor Rory looked like he was ready to do a runner.
The Earth's climate has always changed. It is influenced by 1)The Sun 2) The Earth's Core 3) Volcanic Activity and 4) NEO's Near Earth Objects striking the planet - meteorites, astroids and comets. NOT HUMAN ACTIVITY!
America's Choice are you a scientist of any sorts? Could you debate your point with scientists who will tell you differently?
@@jamesleon4883 My point? Facts. One, one mind you, volcanic eruption creates more greenhouse gasses than ALL OF HUMAN ACTIVITY SINCE THE BEGINNING OF MANKIND. That is just volcanic activity...
They...Can't...Even...Say...Anything...Without... A....Pause...And....These...People...Are....Leading..Our...Future...
I would have asked Boris “Why are you the puppet of your team being told what to say and when?”
This is the best we've got? We're f**ked.
What a useless bunch. No wonder Boris didn't want to appear in public for scrutiny before. His evasive, blustering, non-committal performance tells us all we need to know about his future leadership. As for the rest; did anyone actually answer a question with words that actually meant something ? It makes one long for a fearless, straight talking Trump here in Britain.
I feel sorry for the EU. They won't know what do with this bunch of clowns.
A useless debate, Emily Maitlis lost control, she allowed the candidates to talk over each other and did her usual act of interrupting their answers. A complete waste of an hour in my view.
Sorted. Straight talking scotch lass should be next PM.
She was a Climate Change zombie. The Earth's climate has always changed, even before humans appeared. The Earth's climate is influenced by: 1) The Sun 2) The Earth's Core 3) Volcanic Activity and 4) NEO's Near Earth Objects striking the planet - meteorites, astroids and comets. NOT HUMAN ACTIVITY!
She was the most deluded one there lol
What kind of bs highlights is this?
The Guardian doesn't think the debate was worth prolonging the agony... so far, even the BBC hasn't bothered. Labour? just time for the credits....
Rory looks very sad at 1:19...
What a surprise a Jock is not impressed with a Tory.
And these are the best five people, amongst the millions that live in this country, to be the next prime minister eh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Paul Chuckle seems to be missing though...…………..
They think we are sheep's. Shame on you. Politicians mean hypocrites
Roderik no!
"But we've run into that door three times already Rory!" Roasted.
Politics isn't a job anymore ----it's a hobby
No they get paid so it is very much a job
An opportunity for a well placed bomb was missed.
Rory is trying too hard to get people to like him, not even Javid greeted that guy in Arabic
?? PLS EXPLAIN
Javid is pakistani, he doesnt speak arabic
@Karl Pilkington Can you speak Welsh?
Boris will win, and he's the best candidate. No deal is will not destroy the UK, UK is a strong country and it will be fine. He'll get us out instead of the stupidity which May was doing for 3 years, which wasted so much time and money, all paid by us taxpayers. I believe he'll do a better job than May.
Boris: the fop with the mop who will flop!
Notice only time remain side (Rory Gove) got annimated was when the word islamaphobes was mentioned what about Anglophobes never a wimper
1:43 And that’s being polite. These candidates are absolutely pathetic
Got to be the worst way to organize a debate. Everyone is criticizing the candidates but it’s impossible to be impressive with this format if everyone butting in only left wing questions from selected trolls
more like a AA meeting hello my name is Boris Johnson and am a alcoholic
They are all hypocrites, they are all hypocrites, they are hypocrites, they are hypocrites, they are hypocrites, they are hypocrites
