@@justjared82I love the democratization of this space. I've made a few videos because regular Hobby Joggers with a cell phone can just share their experiences.
@@justjared82 Maybe just cut one shoe in half and save the other shoe for side-by-side run/ride comparisons (example Asics Novablast 5 on one foot and Nike Zoomfly 6 on the other foot). Or, cut just one shoe in half on all brands and just do side by side run/ride comparisons. But, based on stack height differences, it may do wonders on your hips and knees though.
@@justjared82 look forward to that comparison. If you have time I’d like to see a side by side (shoe on each foot) between the Novablast 5 & Zoomfly 6…to differentiate the ride and stability of those two shoes.
@@justjared82I think you're right. When I said to donate them, I was partly thinking about the people living in my country and not Americans, and partly about the fact that I've seen many videos on UA-cam about how running shoes wear out. Most of them suggested that after approximately 500-800 kilometers, they're good for the trash, whereas I would have used them for at least another 200-400 kilometers, and if only the sole was worn, maybe another 400 kilometers for walking. Just for context, as an explanation, for me in Romania, $150 is equivalent to $450-500 compared to an average-income American from an average state. Chatgpt told me that, I didn't made a true research. :)
I understand. I know Americans can be very wasteful, especially compared to other parts of the world. Interesting exercise. I like your laid back style.
Thank you for watching, sorry about the poor audio in this one!

@@kuriosites thank you! I was filming my vids in front of my home gym in garage but I believe this platform will appeal to more hobby joggers
Great video 🎉
Pretty cool seeing one of my favorite shoes dissected.
I didn’t really know what to expect, that FF Turbo puck is pretty small
@ yea, all the reviewers always made a point of saying a “small puck size”. It was interesting to see the weight of the plate, etc
I can get the Alphafly 3 on sale.. In Europe on sale is $260.. I have the Alphafly V1 and V2.. I use them for long runs.. Can't decide on the V3.
Did my first run in it today. I’m undecided but it definitely didn’t blow me away
Love it...cut more shoes in half and do the durometer on their midsoles to compare to the Asics Magic Speed 4.
I definitely will once I get some miles in them. Thanks for watching!!

I have a pair of Novablast 5’s inbound. Definitely going to do a run with one a 4 and a 5 on each foot.

Jared - Nike Zoom Fly 6 or Asics Magic Speed 4?
I’d say ZF6 based on comfort and stability. The MS4 is a good bit firmer, not a bad shoe by any means, just a little harsher.
@@justjared82 Thank you for the information, appreciate it.
How many miles did you run in this shoe?
I had around 150 miles in them. I could have gotten more I believe but the Mach X2 and Nike ZF6 are just more comfortable/fun to run in.
your mic input on the videos are getting from the camera and not the mic on your chest.
Yea, I’m not sure what happened there. I fixed it on my latest video, growing pains🤷🏻♂️. Thanks for watching & commenting!
@@justjared82 np! invest on the DJI mic its worth it. peace
I would have subscribed if you donate it instead of cutting it.
I’ve donated/given away a lot of shoes in the last couple years. Who takes old, worn out carbon shoes?
