I have a Redington 2wt glass, Orvis 5 wt, Riverruns 5wt glass, And an Orivis 8wt. Love fishing for everything! Can't wait till the next video!

I had a slot Snook hooked on a Clouser minnow and, after 30 seconds or so of turning his head from the mangroves and pilings, he made a sharp left turn and pulled me under a jet ski platform!!! That was it. Ugh. Of all the ways to loose a 30” plus Snook!! Love surf casting for them, Pompano and (hopefully) Redfish. Don’t have to deal with mangroves, pilings and (groan) jet ski platforms. Curious- is strip set the only way to go on snook, speckled trout, reds and pompano? Trout fisherman asking. Thanks.

Got a question for you. Are you using floating line or sink tip line? If you're using sink tip, how many IPS are you using?
I like the neutral buoyancy of the surf flies I use when using floating line. Good luck!

wow. i'm from south africa and the fish are never that close to the beach! we use 16ft surf rods for sharks sometimes
When beach walkers and morning swimmers watch me catch these fish, they often are quite surprised/startled by this too.
