I’m going to guess that in this type of racing you don’t get an opportunity to practice on the course your going to run on...? All accidents caused by going in “too hot”.
In general, there are 2 or 3 practice heats, + 2 or 3 racing heats, but it is not uncommon to see an accident at the 1st test round, I have even seen at the 1st corner ... ^^
