- We visit Mc Laren Factory ! Very interesting place. We see brand new cars , cars being made and a very stroppy manager coupled with security who demand I delete the footage.

I imagined those working at such a high end car factory would have a reasonable intelligence. I imagined wrongly.

The myth that someone can't enter your garden is nonsense. There's implied right of access that allows people to enter until access is removed. That's why the postman, or a leaflet deliverer can enter. You deny access with a locked gate and or a sign.
As well that implied access is removed if displaying a sign to that effect, oh what was that sign at the entrance of this site saying again?
We have a 6 foot gate that trespassers were climbing over and police weren't interested until I said I'd deal with them then how I see fit.
@@SirIvan0961 You don’t have a RIGHT to open a gate, enter private property and film, but if you do, it’s still only civil trespass. It makes no difference if it’s domestic or commercial premises.

Why go inside and film their building? You know it's against the law to film on private land! You know you can film from public land but not private that's why you evaded the front gate with security.
Sorry what law restricts you filming on private land ?.
I was reading up on it on a legal website. You can be arrested for it if it happens on private land, and if they wanted, they could take you to court over it.

@@adiohead I don't know what It's called legally. I know that you can't trespass when someone is living/working there. I definitely know they could sue you if they wanted. When filmimg on private land you need to obtain the consent of the landlord before filming. If they wanted they can get the video removed from UA-cam and deleted!

The SIA training can't be more that proving you can spell your own name (if that). Obviously, photography rights are not covered in any way.
Security clowns, you were spot on calling them out on bullying people into deleting footage 100% they will have told people taking picture or recording because its near by and nice to look at to delete footage and passed it off as law when its not. They only changed there tune when you called them out on their BS. I hope loads of people start to walk down and take picture and video of the cars.

Oh wow that’s about ten mins walk from my house. There’s a few weird thing about this place - all those trees were originally planted too close/far apart to one another and had to be replanted. There’s also two public rights of way hitting the place from different directions. It also has a 24 hour direct non-stop bus service from Heathrow.

Perhaps if he did what the entrance sign said - visitors press the button for assistance, they might have showcased their company. Thing is, do McLaren need to showcase themselves? This video sums it all up when it comes to security.
The first guy asks you to leave all the time saying security will remove you. When security do turn up, they instantly call the police when challenged. Later the security boss says people delete footage when asked.
It shows that they rely on people not knowing their rights and laws. Once they are challenged they are completely powerless. They truly are glorified police callers!
Ps The police use a similar tactics.
If somebody plonked themselves in you garden (assuming you have a garden) I suppose you'd welcome them with open arms and get them a cup of their favourite brew.
DJE was not allowed to be there thanks to the sign saying as much that he lied about not being there, and the company did not want him there. They asked him to leave, he dilly dallied like he always does whilst pretending to leave. What else should they do? If there was a fire in his house would he walk around casually filming the rooms in his house as he slowly makes his way out?

I used to walk dogs and go jogging around the back of the F1 factory and no one ever stopped me, i think some of it owed by mclaren and part council, because council maintain it
