      The longer the video, the more informative. Quick short videos are preferable before a job trying to figure anything out. Longer videos at night to educate yourself.

    This guy obviously a top painter as can tell he cuts in with brush then rolls over with a 4inch so solid finish. Also no brush marks round the sockets . then rolls the walls out its the way forward

    Now that's what I'm talkin about 👍. This is how it's done!
    I've been seeing painters here rolling using an 18 inch roller on 18- 20 ft stretch of wall just dipping twice, really stretching that paint as far as it will go. I mean really, c'mon..that is just not quality work a homeowner would spend money on.
    Good job my man!

    hello what paint do you use
    did you dilute the paint if so with what stuff did you dilute the paint
    all the paint I use is thick and does not cover as well just like your paint what you use in your video I am from the Netherlands

    • @elyeunas
      @elyeunas 2 роки тому

      If you are using latex paint you can use same water if the paint is too thick. It's better with water when the paint is very thick. You roll faster and paint is smoother on wall with water

    You make it look so easy lol. Last night i primed my bedroom room and now trying to decide on a color but when rolling the primer it would take the paint off when i rolled over it to try and make it even. Even after 2 coats it looks like shit. Maybe its the rollers i bought? Now i gotta look up a video on rollers🤬. This isn’t going as smooth as i thought it would 🤷🏻

      Hey Orbital! We tend to use 3/4 nap Wooster super/fab for flat paint for rough surfaces. We like the Whizz microlon 1/2 nap for most of the premium Benjamin Moore & Sherwin Williams wall paints that we use.

    You absolutely suck. You make it look so easy and fast to paint a wall so you took all my excuses away. So now I got to go out and break my leg so my wife doesn't ask me to paint today.
    Seriously you did an excellent job and so fast. I never knew about that size roller until they close friend of mine had one in his garage. You really do make it look easy.
    I most definitely gave you a thumbs up and I hit the subscribe button. I honestly think that I going to stop at Home Depot today and pick up a roller and pan and get some work done.

    Great video! All my walls have orange peel texture. When I use 18 inch roller, with 3/8 nap, I'm noticing lines on the edges where I overlap. Paint is Sherwin Williams Pure White. I saw that you are using 1/2 nap. If I change to 1/2 nap, could this solve the problem? Also, how much pressure/force do you use when applying? I'm trying to eliminate the lines. Thanks!

    • @TribblePaintingCompany
      @TribblePaintingCompany  Рік тому

      make sure you get your puddy out and sand down the lines as best as you can. don't rely on the paint to cover texture. when using a roller apply just a little bit of pressure to keep the roller actually rolling on the handle. if you see overlaps in your paint just go over it with your roller to even it out. most if not all paint will 'settle' a little bit after putting it on the wall so expect it to smooth out just a little before it dries.
      when in doubt, come back after 5-ish minutes after doing a coat and see how it looks, should be enough time for it to settle some on the wall, but still wet enough to smooth over with the roller if you need to.

    I love my 18" roller... But I love not using it even more. I like the quick setup of a 9" roller with regular trays or the small Wooster buckets. I like jamming it into the corner eliminating 90% of my corner cuts, I love getting super close to the ceilings with the 9, siderolling above door frames and getting much more consistent overall coverage. 18" roller is such a hassle, I use it as a last resort, just prepping thst space to make it 18" friendly I could have finished the whole room. You'll stop using it one day too, and your shoulders will thank you for it.
