I love seeing that. I have Cerebral Palsy and have had limitations with my life but I'm extremely fortunate to able to drive my Mustang. I'm so glad he can drive his Impala soon! That optimism is infectious and inspiring.
The 59 Chevy Impala, bubble top has always been my favorite car of choice. Wonderful smooth ride, powerful engine, beautiful design, luxury, and comfort throughout. This car is made of metal unlike many cars of today mostly of plastic and fibre composite materials. 59 Chevy Impala---a beautiful car ! ! !
This video was fantastic. That Impala is a cool car with an even cooler owner. Drivers licensing centers are pretty boring, but one of them gets to be way cool on the day that Trevor shows up. Please keep us posted.
Boy, I remember when these came out.....they were so different that it took awhile to get used to the design. Nice little rig and the fella really should be proud of his ride. Never saw one of these with a continental kit. My '57 Ford had the filler behind the license plate....very handy.
@@robbchastain3036 Engines, too. The mighty 409 and the fuelie 283 and 327's.....the wild and wooly days! Multiple carbs....deuces and 2-four barrels....getting misty-eyed. I had 3 Strombergs on my '57.
Love the idea of Trevor not giving up on one of the greatest cars ever made, so iconic and I Love the fact that you took him out for a ride in Vicious, seeing him light up was priceless, way to go Sean
"It's the happiness it brings all walks of life.." Trevor is a LEGEND!! That's SO true! Let's see more of him and his amazing car, Shawn - you've all made my day. :@D

Wow! Amazing motivation! Stunning car. My dad had one exactly like this and later a '62 Impala. I remember that front seat being big enough to accomodate my dad, mom, myself us toy cars hahaha. And cruising 120 mph effortlessly, floating along..
Congrats, you're kicking ass this year man, it's one hell of a ride. Trevor's car is just great. Killed it by taking Trevor for a ride in the Mustang! All the best!
@@christophermarechal5017 I really enjoy seeing people smile and being happy. It makes me happy to know that people get to love the life they are living.
I love it how funny is that "I just had an orgasm in a million-dollar car"😅🤣 that 59 was absolutely sick! Love that interior! There is something about an older car the way they feel so big Andrew me but so comfortable compared to a new one. It would be cool to see designers do away with that junk collecting center console in cars again hint hint auto makers.
Dude know what you're talking about before you type. He's a Quad. I'm a high Para T-7. Also from a hit and run motorcycle accident that I woke from and was not expected to survive. I have friends who are Quads who drive and are able to do many things. Now listen and learn. Quads can move their arms. It depends how high the injury was on the neck. Quads are measured by the bones C-7 to C-1 in the neck. C-7 being the lowest and having the most function left on their arms and wrists. I knew a guy who drove a tricked out '69 Camaro. He was a Quad and he drove the adapted car and put his wheelchair in and out by himself. It's a hard life. They have limited use of their hands. Technically you are right. Quad injuries (meaning four) affect all four limbs. But that doesn't mean they aren't able to move their arms. High Quads are a different matter. They lose more arm function. My guess is, he is about C-7 or C-6. So this guy and any Quad that doesn't give up deserve a lot of credit.

Tom Nekuda such a unique time in automotive design. I love that continental kit. Great old Impala
The Impala of '58 and '59 and '60 was a wild and crazy design run for Chevy, such a big swing of the pendulum over the drafting table.

He is not a quadriplegic. He has paraplegia
Also its not actually 1959. We don't use the word 'quad' anymore lol jeez
.
*Paraplegic. If he was a quadriplegic he wouldn’t have use of all four (quad) of his limbs.
