I, was in Cumberland, that night, but didn't catch, this event. I'm so glad, you placed a camera here. I've commented on it, many times. Awesome video, VR. Prayers, for folks, looked like their car, blew up,...literally
CSX, actually had a derailment, east of Cumberland, a couple days before, in Morgan County, WV

Wow! Excellent catching all the trains, including the military trains as well, the Via Rail Canada, along with the UP locomotive in Rochelle, Illinois, and so much more, @Virtual Railfan, thank you very much.
Outstanding (again) really love the 3-species bird shot (pelicans, eagle, jetliner -Flightradar24 says it was United flight 67 from Kona, Hawaii to Chicago at 41,000 ft. altitude in that shot.) and the close up of the mule deer.
I loved that three-species shot too! And the deer were gorgeous, with just the right music,
Some nice meets tonight, thanks VRF - especially the opening scene at Galesburg which I thought was really good. Also, nice to see 'Illinois Terminal' again and BNSF 1507. The car at 17:40 just escaped a 'Boing' on it's roof and another 'Boing' on it's backside - some cool driving when under pressure like that.

High voltage electrical arcs will produce radio waves that can interfere with electronics including cameras. Especially at that close of a distance.

it was cool to see the caterpillar bulldozers on the dalton cam. that train originates from caterpillar in East Peoria Illinois as norfolk southern D49.

I'm seeing a lot of young women and girls in these videos that are excited about Horizontal Transportation ( I am a retired Vertical Transportation Technician, elevator mechanic) and that bodes well for the industry. 🤔🇺🇸

Good stuff but again you are showing to much from Ft Madisson and now Chehalis (even though I like Chehalis). Spread it around some more . More Tower 55, Barstow, Revelstoke is needed

Personally interesting: 1 I worked on the Railway for a couple of years when I was young so VRF is still interesting. 2. My career was at an Electrical Utility so the arcing was also interesting and 3 I saw a unit with the same number as the last four digits of my phone number. Quite an evening. (Do I have to explain my humour?)

Is there something different about the chehalis camera? It always seems to pan straight into the ground before coming back up. Like maybe it’s mounted at an angle or something?
I have no ideas how the camera controls work, but being a photographer and somewhat of a videographer, I’m curious.
