After weeks of waiting, I finally have to do my least favorite thing laundry, i use the downtime to talk to you guys and address some issues I have with UA-cam I do not like to do laundry but filming myself doing it makes it kind of fun because I try to make you guys laugh. Have you ever noticed the really large numbers of extremely perturbing videos on tiktok that create tons of negative comments and views? Thats actually a marketing dynamic! People always slow down for a car accident. If the GIV is really upset about the trolls that one thing, but he is genius to bring it up now and again because it will actually generate revenue for him! Its a crazy world!

There’s a laundromat inside my apartment building for residents only and people still steal stuff! It’s a 55 and over building. I guess some people never outgrow the chance to simply take what they want🤔 One of life‘s many mysteries.

Mike, I very rarely comment on your videos, but this one I had to. I absolutely loved your video. I do the exact same thing you do. I always procrastinate doing my laundry and let it pile up until I'm out of clothes. I have even bought underwear, socks and towels just to put off doing the laundry longer. Where I live it's much cheaper to do a load of laundry, but I always use the smaller washing machines. I always wait until Sunday to do my laundry b/c I know the owner does other people's laundry Mon-Sat. Unfortunately, it's usually crowded. Most of the people don't speak English and are not from America. I usually go to the variety store next door and play a few scratch tickets to pass the time. Once I won $1,000 doing my laundry, but I mostly lose. The best thing of all about doing laundry is when it's done: Thank God.

Last time I used a laundromat I was about 23. They depress the heck out of me.
This is my second favorite GIV video. My first was the Puente Hills Mall. Laundry Day is very difficult for me too. Recently I started doing it more often (devide and conquer) and it's easier. Excellent video recording, entertaining, and loved the topic😊

Mike I turned my (German heritage)wife on to your channel about a month ago she and her sisters are hooked, we grew up going to Venice in the 60s,70s and 80s. I live in northern California. I love driving down to Pismo Beach on Highway 1. Super scenic and breathtaking. Bring a lunch, extra gas, and drinks in a cooler. Brunch on a beach 🏖 😊😊😊❤❤❤
Too bad Pismo sucks now. I've lived in the area for 27 years as an adult. Paid parking, those two big, hideous hotels they built in the pier area, etc. Tourists love it...locals HATE IT! That was the city's intention...$$$! I'd rather hang in Grover Beach right next door...FREE PARKING! 😉

Gosh I remember going to the laundry mat doing clothes for a family of 5. Took me hours and lots of quarters..lol Now I am able to wash at home. I never use softener sheets. They put plastic on the clothes. I use a wool laundry ball. Makes your clothes last longer. Much love Mike

Thumbs up to GIV! I started laundry detail, including ironing and folding at the age of 5 to help my Mom and family of five. At some point after I bought the best front load combinations washer and dryer I enjoy doing the laundry. Brings back memories of my Mom, now gone. I hate ironing though. Great video!
Ugh Laundry Day! The worst! If I didn't have a washer and dryer I'd send my laundry out and pay for it!!! Just do your good shirts and undies and send the rest out! Life is to short!!! 😂❤
GIV, put a dry Towle in the dryer when you first start your drying will help it dry faster
And use less detergent per load....1/4 cap works better than a full cap. Using less detergent will avoid leaving soap residue on your clothes and allow the machine to fully rinse your clothes. I'm guessing it was soap residue on the large spot you pointed out.
He had a super duper LARGE LOAD THATS WHY HE NEEDED A FULL CUP OF SOAP BUT HE DIDNT READ WHERE TO POUR IT. MAYBE HE POURED IT INTO FABRIC SOFTENER SLOT? READ GIV READ!

Mike, you are funny and make me laugh. Thanks for taking us along for the tumble in the dryer lol! I really don't like doing laundry either, but I make myself do my laundry every week. So much easier. Laundry tip; get a bottle of oxyclean/shout spray and spray spots when your done wearing them, just let the spray dry before putting them in the hamper, or spray them right before washing. easy :) PS: I loved the birthday wishes video for your mom.
Put everything right on a hanger as soon as it comes out of the dryer.

It’s easy. Separate everything as soon as you take it off. Darks, lights and whites. You can stuff them in baskets or stretchy pillowcases. Simple. And if I had a quarter for every item of clothing I have folded I would be a billionaire! But I don’t do socks anymore lol
I use vinegar for the rinse cycle. It gets funky smells out and keeps colors from fading out to fast..plus its cheap. 😊 I hate sorting socks. I have a IKEA bag full of single socks. I save them just in case.

The best and Most popular stuff I watch is people working. They do them. Being an engineer that’s what I dig. They are not a UA-camr in their eyes but have 20-30 million every video. Not monetized videos. Your a cool guy recording things. Period. Digital is convenient but I can’t record daily life anymore. I did this for 30 years and had my time. Your turn. 😂The filming we did in 92-99 then uploaded in the golden days of UA-cam was fun. But was never about monetizing,only to share. That’s why we dig your channel. Its familiar because it’s the same content 23 years later. 8mm still rules man. We focused a bit more on esthetic when we recorded the cities we drove to but hey , digital is easy. I get it. I have a small washer that you can drain in a sink or tub or shower. Works great! It spins them almost completely dry. I then hang them on a clothesline that I put up in a spare room, using a fan to finish drying them.

I had a washer in an apt that didn't have washer hookups. Hooked the washer up to the kitchen faucet, ran the drain hose down the side of the sink the garbage disposal was on.
I had to use a laundromat in Anaheim, California back in the late 1990s. It was on Katella Avenue, about two miles from my home. Someone stole my entire dryer load when I went to the adjacent grocery store to get more soap. They stole my favorite Hobie "Sunrise Shirt" and my Rolling Stones Voodoo Lounge concert shirt among lots more. Now, Anacrime is becoming a third-world city.
It would be better if you could get an apartment size stackable washer and dryer. Then do a load every week. You won't like it if you wash something red with light colored clothes and then they all come out pink! Thumbs down to anyone that gave your mum's birthday video a thumbs down. IT WAS GREAT! You know what takes out those grease stains even after you've washed and dried your clothes, is OxiClean max force spray. You spray it on the stain and let it set in for about twelve hours or so, then you wash it. The stain is gone!
